What other letter...
These brain teasers rely on your ability to recognize groups of common attributes. For each of these puzzles you'll need to figure out why the words or letters are grouped as they are. Sometimes you will be asked to pick the odd-one-out or to place a new word into the correct group.
What other letter fits in this series:
B C D E I K O X?
HintYou'll 'flip' when you see the answer!

Answer
The letter H. All of the letters in the series can be reversed vertically---or flipped head over tail-- and remain the same.

| They are mirror image vertically or say mirror is kept above/below the alphabets ..... |

| On my monitor the upper part of the "B" is smaller than the lower part. That is a vertical flip does not result in the same letter. That's symmetry?

| Iambraindead is right, the bottom half of the letter B is almost always bigger than the top. |

| oh my goodness you people nitpick. do you think that when someone writes something, say with a pencil, everything comes out perfectly proportional? I mean, good gravy, "THAT 'H' isn't symmetrical when i write it! i'll whine about it! nuh nuh nuh der der!" |

| I liked the hint... it sorta gave the teaser away, so it let me get the answer and feel smart for a few minutes!
Great teaser! |

| The proper way to say it would be that they all have a horizontal line of symmetry. |

| Look closely at the B, the upper portion is smaller than the bottom, therefore when flipped it would not be the same.

| good one. While one half is not a duplicate of the other half, the letter Z can also be flipped |

| It CAN be fliped, but will not meet the requirments of this teaser. "B" does not fit, either on computer or if written by hand. Keep them coming! |

| "B" fits perfectly fine. anyhow, the hint helped alot. |

| It's a matter of "bi-lateral symmetry" vs "rotational symmertry"...
Either way, if Z fit the profile it would be in the teaser example, as would S. The example is there to demonstrate the pattern.
I like it ^_^ |
