56 Bicycles
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.
A man is found shot dead in the street surrounded by 56 bicycles. Why was the man shot and what is the significance of the bicycles?
Answer
The man was playing poker with someone else. As a poker deck has only 52 cards, he was soon found to be cheating by holding 4 extra cards. The other man shot him in the street as he rushed to leave. The bicycles are the brand of cards he was using.

| HA HA HA sarcastic, but that should have been in trick I think! I thought it was a bike race and the person starting it shot the gun and accidently killed a guy. And YES, I know they don't use real guns in races, notice I was wrong anyway??? |

| Why wouldn't bicycles be in the street?.. I dunno about every one else, but here in the USA ... bicycles ride on the street... sidewalks are for pedestrians.
And I still say it was a good one! |
