Can you determine what famous musicians are described below? Each clue is an anagram of their full birth name.

1. Seen alive? Sorry, pal!

2. One cool dance musician.

3. Censor per song liner.

Answer

1. Elvis Aaron Presley
Known as just Elvis, he was an American musician and actor.
The clue refers to the many rumours that Elvis is still alive.

2. Madonna Louise Ciccone
Known as just Madonna, she is an American musician, dancer, and actress.

3. Prince Rogers Nelson
Known as just Prince, he is an American musician.
His song, "Darling Nikki", prompted Tipper Gore to urge warning labels on records. After a senate hearing on obscenity in popular music, some albums required a label such as: "Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics".

The title refers to the artists' royal-sounding names or nicknames.
Elvis has also been called "The King of Rock and Roll".
Madonna has also been called "The Queen of Pop".
Prince is already a royal-sounding name.
