Elevator Out of Order

Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.

Susan arrived at her new job in a 60 story building. When she arrived, she found that the elevator was out of order, and believe me, she did NOT want to walk up 30 flights of stairs. So how did she get to her office?

Answer

Susan simply walked to her office, which was on the first floor. I never said she had to walk up 30 flights of stairs, just that she didn't want to!

Loved how this teaser played with your mind with the words 30 and 60 floors!

I'm not sure if this should be in the trick selection otherwise I can see why it's in the situation category. Maybe 50-50 otherwise not the best unfortunately.

I nailed it, as well as the option that she didn't WANT to, but did it anyway.
