| How big was this roll of tolet paper? I mean it was a good teaser, but 1000 squares? Thats near to 100m of loo roll! The bog roll in qustion had to have been one of those big ones you find in public toilets. A normal roll has less than 300 leaves of paper. |

sarcastic_brat53
May 23, 2003
| to horse_lover, they probaly don't have that many rolls of toilet paper, it would take a whole of 30 seconds to look in ten roles if they even had that many. |
Jessicag
Mar 07, 2004
| I thought the answer was pantihose as they are a cylinder and the woven parts may make squares, but the toilet roll is much better.
PS to the others, sure there are some inconsistencies in this teaser but you lose the love of life if you let silly things like that bother you so much. perhaps you should go outside and look at something else besides your computer eh? |

| Cute one. My elderly mom recently moved from her large home of 40+ years into a small granny flat and used empty toilet paper rolls to pack small items which fit snuggly inside. I thought that was an ingenious idea. By the way, LadieLuvBug I REALLY enjoyed your comment and had absolutely no problem reading it . | I didn't see any spelling mistakes in the teaser, but I seen a lot of spelling errors in a lot of the post that were complaining about it.I thought this was a fun sight for people to enjoy and have fun so why do so many have to complain about spelling errors.Although I didn't get the answer right I still think it was a good teaser and I don't care about the spelling errors because we all are guilty of that but what's the big deal.I can think of a lot more things to complain about so why can't we just have fun and not fuss over petty things.Good teaser, keep up the good work. |

| So many people with so many problems, or is it so many people with the same problem...does it really make one feel better about one's self to put down others in a public forum.
The teaser was a teaser no more no less...I was guessing a cut crystal vase which would make the diamond nearly invisible with a little water in it...but a TP roll was cleaver. |
bryan62
Mar 07, 2006
| Not bad. I guessed a salt shaker. |
shawneeo
Mar 07, 2006
| Hey! the person above me guessed the same thing I did, and I think we had the best answer! It was in a salt shaker or a container of salt. Salt comes in a cylindrical shaped box and each crystal of salt is a cube. This works better because its in a cylinder, surrounded by squares, and its supported by the salt; whereas in the middle of a roll of TP where does it go? It would have to be stuck to one side of the hollow cylinder or just... I dunno?
Although I agree about people being too picky about spelling errors, it seems that those shouldn't be there anyway; it makes it seem like no one really cares enough to do a simple spell check. But true it does say not to comment on those, I would just wish spelling was corrected before posting a teaser, and, really it usually, almost always is. Thanks, it was a fun teaser! |

| It wasn't a bad teaser, though I think it should have been situation rather than logic. If those of you who are troubled by misspellings, as am I, would just submit a correction, you'd improve it for others, and not have to be considered offensive. |
cherokeerose
Mar 07, 2006

Come on folks! So what if there was a spelling error or you've never seen a roll of TP with so many sheets; it was still a fun teaser. And, isn't that why we all come here -- so our brains can have fun?
Cute teaser! Thanks! |

| Take note of the dates when comments were made about misspellings. They were made BEFORE the misspelled word was corrected.
There is, however, a process for submitting corrections ... and it is NOT in the comments section.
Are we having fun yet ... ??? |

| Good morning all -- I loved this teaser. Very cute. It reminded me of when I helped clean out my grandmother's apartment after she passed. We found money and valuables in the strangest places. She seemed to hide things to keep them from the "bad guys" should they ever find a way in. Money in books, jewelry in the food pantry in the bottom of cereal boxes... things were everywhere. it makes this teaser very believeable. (is that spelled right???) |

Mar 12, 2007
| I'm not usually too critical of teasers, especially since I haven't written my own, but I'm disappointed in this one because I consider myself very logical, and I couldn't find any way to use logic to find the answer, not even after seeing the answer. It wouldn't be Trick though, as someone else suggested, because Tricks usually have some explanation that isn't obvious until the answer is given. This doesn't even have that. Maybe this would go in 'Other'... |
