Welcome to Braingle's first annual Checkers Tournament!

In this tournament all participants are allowed to play checkers and win for "Braingle fame". The rules are simple, you just make sure you have a checkers account, located here. The rules of checkers will be explained shortly. There is a maximum of 32 places available. If we can't get 32, the it'll go to 16.

Signing up

To sign up, please make a post saying you want to sign up. Where you are placed will be random, so you don't cheat by going against people that are horrible at checkers. If you know nothing about checkers, please don't sign up.

Simple Rules to be Followed

- If you win a game or lose a game, please post the link to the game to prove that you have won or lost.
- Please do not forget you are playing the game because after the time limit runs out, you automatically lose.
- It is not recommended to forfeit.
- And finally, please set the time limit to the minimum so game don't last for weeks and possibly months at a time.

Rewards

The rewards are a little mini award you get posted in my wiki as a compliment, or just a congratulations. This may also be a great way to earn points in checkers.
