How do I sign-up for the new tournament!?
1) First you will need to meet the requirements to participate, these things are have 1 good karma tick, to prove you are a decent member and will be less likely to cause trouble. | You will also need 50 points, mainly to prove that you have registered your account to braingle, this is to keep non players out, | and last, but not least is have 10 chess points, which means you must have 1 chess victory, which shows me you know how to play chess. If you meet the stuff above the precede to step 2.
2) Send Dontrelle a PM (private message) this is to keep players from simply posting "I want to play" and then never coming back, just simply send me a PM saying you want to play, and please tell me which spot from the bracket you want, like: "I want the very top spot on the South Side 1." then I will put your name on the spot you have chosen, please bear with me if it does not get updated for a few days, sometimes I can get pretty busy, but trust me, I have your PM and I am working on it.
3) All you do now is just be patient and wait for the rest of the spot to fill up.
How do I know who to challenge!?
In the bracket you will see 2 spots, you will (if you signed up) be in one of them, look at the bracket closest to it, whoever the person in that bracket is (above or below you doesn't matter) is the person you will be playing, if they are above you in your section they will need to challenge you, if you are above them, then you need to challenge them.
How do I challenge someone!?
First you will need to find out if you need to challenge them, or vice versa. To verify this please read "How do I know who to challenge!?" once you have found this out please then figure out who you need to challenge, please read "How do I know who to challenge!?" to figure out how to do that. Then find this person's home page on braingle by clicking on their name or doing a user search for them. Then look for their "Game Summary" or "Game Page" or maybe "Game Scores" once you have found this click on it, then look for "chess" look next to it, you will see a link that says "Challenge User" or something similar, this will lead you to another page, then simply click "Challenge User" then you just have to wait until they accept your challenge.
How do I create a link to my games!?
To make a link to your games it is pretty easy, when you have completed your game go back to review game, where you can see what happened that game, then look to the top of your screen, you will see something like: "Braingle.com/games/chess/summary/game109343" copy that by highlighting the entire thing then right clicking it and clicking "copy". Then come to the Chess Tournament page, click the link underneath the  and  smilie faces, it will say "link" click that button, the first thing you will see is a place to put the URL you copied, right click in the space provided then hit the button "paste" then hit "okay", then you will see another thing come up, type something like "Dontrelle vs. Nedhoggy" or whoever played in the game, then hit "okay" again, then post your post, then I will be able to click the link you created and review the game. Please keep in mind this is a requirement when you have completed the game. The winner of that game is responsible for posting the link.
