By the way, sneak, the proper spelling is 'Xi'an', not 'Xi An' (which is already a better spelling because many people spell it 'Xian', which is not only spelt wrongly but also pronounced differently.) It's a rule of pinyin that place names must be written together (including names like Fǎguó - France - not Fǎ Guó or Fǎ guó), and when the second syllable starts with a vowel, they are separated by an apostrophe, like the French tréma (used in words like Noël). (Not a big problem, but I love nitpicking on spelling.  Mwahahahaha!)

It's OK. There are very few Chinese cities starting with 'e'. In fact, there are none starting with 'i' except for those in Xinjiang, Nei Mongol or Xizang of which few people know.
