I think there is an acceptance to losing a game by posting the 499th post, but at the same time, this game, as all games here, are done in fun. It would have been easy to NOT post the 499th post, but the spirit of the game is not can you hold out to be the 500th post, but can you work it so you ARE the 500th post.

I say this because it would have been easy for sneak to have just stopped posting, but if you read the rules, that could be construed as manipulating the posts. Of course there is nothing that says he has to stick around and post so someone else wins, but I tip my hat to him that he acknowledged the outcome. If others were on at the time and had been playing, I could see someone sitting back a bit and waiting for someone to post that 499th. I saw a chance near the end if I kept a conversation up... was I manipulating... I guess it could be argued that I did... but I was just going with the flow at the time. Once I saw that I was the even number poster, I knew that if the posts continued on their normal route, I would be the 500th.

Someone could have easily have been sitting in the wings waiting for that moment. Would I have called foul? No... because again, it is only a game. I know a couple games ago there were two players who played out the last 25 or so posts to make sure one of them won. I was not online at the time, but that is just the way it is.

I can tell you that I am not "bragging" that I will win again... as I am quite content to have one victory and let everyone else who is trying to win it, go for it. Bottom line... please everyone, just have fun posting... and go with the luck of the draw who ends up as 500.

Mel, basically you just post some thoughts, following the rules, you can not post twice in a row. At some point, we will reach 500 posts, the time when this topic automatically gets locked down. Who ever posts that 500th post wins the game. Its sort of a silly little game to pass time with few rules. The key is that short of the few simple rules, you can pretty much talk about anything and just enjoy yourself.

We gave it to her yday. She said today "noones given me a card yet!!!" but im like my card was going to be a collar for it, BUT YOU HAVENT NAMED IT YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!
