Anyways, would it permissable to hold a chess tournament? Trisket used to organize this but he hasn't logged in 6 months+. The old ones he has hosted are now certainly deleted...

I think that is a great idea and we would need one for checkers too.

If I Remember Correctly - IIRC

I think it woulld be a great idea to have a gaming directory. That way fellow brainglers could play each other at whatever games they have.

I think you could have a brainglers list stating how many hours away from braingle time, their IP and email/im address and if they have gamespy arcade or not so I would be in the players list something like this:

An example is right here

LegalMumboJumbo:
1+ braingle time
IP: 72.153.96.193
Email: legalmumbojumbo@gmail.com
Gamepsy Arcade: Yes, user name MatCauthon

Then you could have an index like the photo album does to each game and the name of the brianglers who own it. So you just have to get the name, scrool up to look at players then pm to ask if they want to play or not.

So maybe
Age of Empires 1
Legal Skill level Intermediate
Bob Skill level Amutuer
George Skill level Expert

Have you guys considered the chess tournament idea farther back?

Legal - I think your ideal would be nice, except for the most part IPs tend to change. There are some that use dial up, and IIRC it changes each time they connect.

May be a "Gamer" section with everything except the IP to it.

I'd like to suggest that the conversation box on the chess and checkers games be moved up the the right side of the screen instead of down below. I like to chat with people and I don't need to check previous moves!

You will find that game and WTB under the Games Tab. When the automated versions became available, they are no longer offered here. Jake created the automated versions as a replacement to the ones in this forum.
