At this exact moment in exactly two weeks, I will be done with exams and out having fun and looking forward to an awesome summer... but I have to survive the next two weeks first.

Well, I only got a B in Speech; but considering the staunch old teacher, while it may not be the best for my grade point average, I'd say that's not a total loss; especially considering many of my classmates likely didn't pass; failing being their own fault, not getting an A likely being due to the class's design.
Still, that's not why I smiled, as I expected it; I would have smiled further had I gotten an unexpected A in the class, but no matter. I got an A in Japanese 2, without having taken 1, so yay. Now as long as my other two classes are As, which optimism encourages me to assume they are, having no reason to get anything lower due to my effort and scores, that shall have been a good semester in terms of grades and shall have proven that I can do well taking a normal amount of classes. It's too soon, but I'll say another little 'yay' just in case I cannot due to disappointment in the future.

I'm smiling because of Roger's post. It is always wonderful to see one who is pleasantly surprised over good grades for their efforts and expectations after putting forth some effort. Nice job Roger. You have all the rights in the world to be proud of your accomplishments.

Aw, thank you very much Vlerma. You're too kind. I'll post again (forgive me) to confirm that I did indeed gain As in all but that illusive Speech class. :]
It's funny. Walking home in the heat I realised that I really have little reason to be so happy. And yet that's exactly what I choose to be. The little things in life, truly, are the most beautiful.

Well, I survived! We had lunch outside today. Hotdogs and such. It was great.

Congrats Shady. :3
What made me smile: My dad decided to randomly hold my hand while we were taking a walk, and then I realized just how sweaty his forearm (which was rubbing against mine) was.

Getting a new phone that has internet so I can come back to my braingle family
I'm on Braingle far too long, I stay on the computer from dusk to dawn. Playing games and chatting with friends, the novelity of it never ends. |

Reading the post by 4wheels above!
Seeing the "Eagle Pic" that jaycr posted in the Family Room.
Seeing a strange but amusing post by Ifb that reads, "Hail Satan"...
(I know, it may be offensive to some, but I couldn't help but laugh... it just seems so random!)
Life... can be so many things... how can anyone ever think they are RIGHT? HAhahahahahahaha!!!!! |

I guess it's a smile. My computer finally works decently enough for me to not be consistently pulling hair out while using it. I'm using it right now and it does the job. CD drive even works, which is a rarity in this household.
So yay, my own computer, bought and scavenged - no fancy stuff for this kid. No more the pains of sharing it.
