What Tickles You?

I was listening to a song I haven't heard in many many years. Make a Man out of You in the film Mulan. I don't know why, but after I heard it, I felt tickled. Like I felt good and it warmed my heart. I can't explain it, but I just felt... great. Memories memories memories... and nostalgia =).
So, it inspired me to start this topic. What thing or things make you feel tickled to the point that you feel like you can save the world before bedtime? It can be something simple, something personal, something silly or something general.

My friend and I were playing random tunes on our trombones by ear during lunch today - just having a bit of fun. At one point, he started playing "Red River Valley". I then joined in and improvised a harmony; our spontaneous duet sounded absolutely beautiful. There's something wonderful about playing music with someone: you have to blend in with and enhance each other's tone, communicate with only the most subtle of movements, trust each other's musical ability, and create beauty together as a team.
Right before he went to class, he asked if we could play it again because - he used the exact same phrase Sneak just used - "it warms my heart". That sums it up quite nicely.

Sorry For Party Rocking. Not trolling. The beat of that song makes me feel like anything's possible. I just wish the lyrics weren't so real-world so I could listen to it without headphones.

Well, I would call how certain things my 18 year old cat Little BB does as "tickling". She just makes me smile spontaneously and for real, and just makes me feel love. I've never felt that I could do anything or save the world from it, but it does warm the cockles of my heart.
Life... can be so many things... how can anyone ever think they are RIGHT? HAhahahahahahaha!!!!! |
