I like the 5th the best. I couldn't put it down. I really don't know why. I think it had a lot to do with Umbridge making me so angry, I was reading to see when she would be *killed or something*.

I love the 5th Harry Potter book. I don't know why I started reading them, but i am glad I did.
I love Harry Potter. The only one complaint i have about them is the epilogue of the seventh book. i expected so much more, and got a few pages. It kind of sucked.

i put the 1st one because i don't like harry potter books so i thought i'd go with the original because 1st of everything are usually the best ones.

i totally disaggree with that statement. Have you even read the Harry Potter books? If you have i can almost garentee you that you will think that the first one is the worst compared to the others.

Excuse me?? The third was the BEST!!! And the fifth was a close second... and after that, I don't really care, they're all equally good.

I'm sorry but the best one was Harry Potter and the half blood prince. The death of dumbledore was horrible but the suspense from the burnt hand and everything was great!

I think the 3rd was the best, 5th a close second. After that, they were still really good but I didn't really like them as much. But, hey! That's wha fanfiction is for! Haha I am such a nerd.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets of course since it sounds the coolest. Just say it to yourself in a British accent and you will be like "Oh My god it does sound like a cool book!" (At the end of secrets make sure to carry on the "s" at the end for extra effectiveness), (I have read all the books though...except the last one).

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix all the way. I loved it. It was long, much was revealed, the whole prophecy was interesting in itself, and I think it was a well written book. They all were, but this was the best.

I've only read them each once. I don't really remember exactly what happened. I put the Goblet of Fire.

36 times EACH??? Wow... I've read the third book maybe 11-12 times, the first two 9 or 10 each, the fourth book... 6? 5th book 4-5 times, 6th book 3 times, 7th book twice. But 36... that's just... just... *is speechless*

These polls drive me crazy. It's nearly impossible, if not really impossible, to choose just one "best" Harry Potter book and not seven. I actually liked the seventh one the most though. Rowling's writing style has improved throughout the series, so DH seems to be the most developed, complex, and intense in many aspects. DH also tied up a lot of loose ends from previous books and answered unanswered questions, which also improved its rating in my opinion. After that, I think my order of preference would be HBP, OOTP, CoS, PoA, SS/PS, and GoF.
