^i tried reading it for class and i just. couldn't. do. it fffffff. read the sparknotes instead.
Haha. Lazy. I'm on page 159 currently, but I'm taking it slow at about 50 pages a day. Then I'll read the Sparknotes to see what I failed to interpret.

Hmm. Alice. I should probably read some of those. Social satire, can't go wrong with that.

The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz

This book is absolutley fantastic. From the energetic prose to the obscenely nerdy references, it really is wondrous.

Finished Oscar Wao (I really can't tell you how much I enjoyed it.) and moved on to The Emperor's Children by Claire Messud.

Follow it up with Animal Farm or Brave New World to round out the tasty dystopian feast.

A book composed of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.

Short books; I like the way he's straight to the point, erm, tone-wise, clearly not context.

Already read Animal Farm, but I might check out Brave New World later on.

The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. Yes, I've finally gotten around to it.

I am currently trying to get through this huge book called, The Stranger Beside Me, by Ann Rule. It is the story written by the neighbor of Ted Bundy, eht infamous serial killer. It kind of gives a person the creeps because she was his friend and coworker, and she thought she really knew him well. Reminds me of someone I thought I knew really well.
