Well I'm a fan of NASCAR, and I would definitely watch it if it popped up on television. But it's not in my top 5 sports. And I couldn't tell you the name of 15 drivers without luck on my side.

I am definitely not a fan of Nascar... I don't see the point of watching cars drive around in a circle. I can't see how that's exciting to watch.

Oh he made a left turn! OHH! AND ANOTHER LEFT TURN!

Fill me in?

To drive 200 MPH, 10 inches from a wall, and 42 other people, handle the car perfectly, for hours on end, in a hot car, with tons of gear on etc. is really tough, which makes it amazing.
Plus everyone secretly hopes someone will spin out, or there will be a crash.

I like Jimmie Johnson.

My brother-in-law is meeting the new driver for UPS today - David Ragan. He's up in Sonoma and gets to smooze with the driver (like play golf, drive him around in a little golf cart) because he works for UPS. LOL

I don't see how people want to WATCH it. I understand the driving part... but wouldn't it get boring just to sit there and see cars in a circle?

Maybe it's because I'm a redneck, I dunno, but I love watching it from time to time.

I was just being sarcastic. I just found it funny that you said "if u r going to talk trash bout this sport dont post alright!", as if any other opinions contrary to your own aren't allowed.

I agree with Grilledcheese, I don't personally enjoy watching NASCAR. I don't mind some other types of racing, but NASCAR just isn't my cup of tea.

Goodness me, Swaff, you aren't advocating independent thinking are you?

Personally, I agree with the Cam viewpoint of "too many left turns". I much prefer Formula One - it's like NASCAR but with twice the directions.
