football isn't that painful cause they get to wear all the padding and helmets, but rugby on the other hand... they don't wear very much padding so if you get tackled then...well..ouch, but you should have also put up lacross or soccer cause i've seen a lacross game before and man was it brutal, guys are just running around whacking eachother with sticks and in soccer, people break bones all the time and get concussions, i was playing in a soccer game one day and this girl kicked it and BAM got me right in the side of the face, i was deaf for bout 5 min and i literally saw stars and that happened another time with a guy kicking and that blurrred my vision for a few minutes

gymnastics is cuz u have to do flips and the splits and all that. if u land something wrong in gymnastics there is a BIG chance ur goin to the hospital.

sorry brain_dead but in my opinion its rugby, you do flips and splits and they ARE NOT planned and YOU ARE going to land wrong, not to mention there are several other people involved who's sole purpose is to hurt you. I love that game

Rugby...After having family members play rugby and watching several matches, it just doesnt compare to Football (American word, not Soccer), as well as Soccer, or really anything else. Ever though each sport can have its differnt types of pain and anguish, either in training or in sports related injuries, but I think in the pure sense of playing the game, Rugby.

u don't always land wrong. i rarely ever do but i broke my ankle from landing wrong, and Sharon was in a coma cuz she landed on her head, and lucy was doing a flip and she landed and her neck twisted and broke so gymnastics is more painful despite wat u say.

The only sport I've ever been hurt in is football. I've gotten the closest you can to getting a concussion without actually getting one, I've been knocked out a few times, pulled many muscles, and my most serious injury: jammed fingers. (seriously, I've had both index fingers hurt so bad I couldn't use them for anything). That was all in practices, with the exception of some pulled muscles and all that fun stuff.

In basketball I've sprained my ankle a few times, just from jumping and landing sideways on it, not that bad.

Now, the sport I got closest to dying in was Track. Just a week or so ago, somebody was throwing discus, and it got away from her, I was standing back, in a safe place, but it just went whacko. It came about 6 inches from whacking me in the head. (I did my matrix moves, but it wouldn't have mattered, just looked cool.). That may not sound dangerous, but it is about a 2 pound metal disk flying at you at a somewhat high speed. It would have killed me if I would have been hit in the head.

I haven't played rugby, but I've played no-pad football. Basically the same as rugby (excluding how the game is played). I'd say rugby hurts the most, football a second. Even though we have pads, no pads protect a 200 pound linemen falling on you .

hard to say about boxing cause of all the rumors of it being fake so you never know if they are really hurt or just acting

Did you mean WWE, thats fake, but people actually bleed in boxing. In what other sport are you allowed to hit someones face even if he is bleeding ?

also, Mike Tyson biting off someones ear thats painful!!

[Edit, wow, blank post]

I also think (actual) wrestling is fairly painful. I just started wrestling this year (not for the school), I like it (not near as much as football), but it hurts pretty bad if you don't know anything yet.

I definitely say rugby in that, but soccer is also more painful than any of those except for rugby. In one game that I played, the goalie got kicked in the chest, had a seizure and was knocked out and taken to the ER. It was pretty crazy.

I donno, I've seen some pretty catastrophic stuff happen in gymnastics.

On the beam for example, you're mid-backflip and then smash headfirst into the beam.

That's got to be at least a 10 on the ouch meter!
