Believe it or not, that is easier said than done. Drugs are extremely hard to get off of after you've become addicted. Try not to surround yourself with people that may have a future with them, though it's hard to tell sometimes.

Jim Stynes funeral tomorrow. A great Aussie Rules Footballer. Died fighting cancer.
He was a great man.

I realize its not a news worthy item in the world of Braingle posts, but please allow me my one little addition to this current event that definately means something to me. Today my father in law of over 33 years died. He was like a father to me in more ways than I could describe and more of a friend to me than an evil father in law. He has been suffering for some 2 years, so today was more of a blessing than a sad day. No need to comment... I just needed to say my peace! Thank you.

Just heard Donna Summer just passed away today of cancer. What a great singer. She had an unforgettable voice, and I remember listening to her hours on end - way back in the 80's. The queen of Disco is gone - and she will be missed. A very classy lady too.
