Heya Jake,

I don't know if I'm the only one but I seem to be unable to check my notifications. When I click on the notifications link at the top of the page, it just redirects me to the 'my account' page. Even if I manually type in "http://www.braingle.com/notify.php" the same thing happens. Any ideas as to what may be wrong? This has been happening since yesterday.

Also, for a while yesterday my account kept signing out repeatedly. After clicking a few pages on Braingle, I was told that I needed to sign in to view the page. I re-entered my login information and continued browsing Braingle and the same thing happened again. This kept happening every minute or so for around half an hour. Things seem to be okay now, though. Just thought I'd let you know in case there's a bug in the system or something.

Thanks in advance.

If it is redirecting you to the my account page, and not keeping you signed in, then this is because your web browser has a problem with it's cookies. I would try cleaning out your cookies and then relaunch your web browser and sign in again. That should work.

You can test this by using a different web browser temporarily, which should not have these problems.

Oh, okay. Thanks a lot! I'll try that out later. Right now I'm using Mozilla Firefox on my brother's comp (as opposed to using Google Chrome on my computer) and it's working fine. I'll try clearing my cookies after school and see if that works.

Edit: Yeahp, it's working fine now. Thanks for your help!

Sorry for the double post but:

The latter problem (about my account signing out) is occurring again. It's not happening as regularly anymore (just once every few hours) but it's still there. I don't think it's a problem with my cache or cookies, because like I said earlier I've cleared those. And I'm sure I tick "Remember Me" each time I log in. Any ideas as to what could be the problem?

It may be a problem with Chrome. I don't know. It seems to be isolated to your computer.

Yeah, I think it may be a problem with Chrome. Braingle doesn't seem to work well with Chrome. There are lots of other small bugs, like how on Chrome if you click on an emoticon or tag the emoticon or tag will appear at the end of the post, not at the cursor position (if you get what I mean). Other Brainglers have PMed me saying that they've had problems with Chrome too.

I guess I'll have to start using Firefox again when using Braingle. It's weird, cause I've been using Chrome for probably over a month now but the problem only started this week or so. Oh well. Thanks for the help anyway.

Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention - this log-in problem seems to start whenever I enter Braingle Chat for some reason. I don't know if that helps any.
