You all knew I'd be first, didn't you?
I have four comments on questions for my returned quiz, but they are split into two basic areas.
Quiz: Red Dwarf - Characters and Actors
Part I
Questions
5. What American actor has also guest starred in an episode of "Black Books"? delete
6. Aside from appearing on "The Fast Show"/"Brilliant!", which guest actor has also been seen in almost every Harry Potter movie?
Quizmaster Comments
5) I dont think the word "also" is necessary
6) I dont think the word "also" is necessary
Rebuttal
"Also" is used to indicate that the person in question had a guest appearance on Red Dwarf in addition to the show mentioned in the question.
Part I
Questions
8. Which comedy series has Norman Lovett appeared on?
11. Craig Charles has mostly done guest appearances, but which other series has he starred in?
Quizmaster Comments
8 ) Reword : "In which comedy series has Norman Lovett appeared?"
11) reword "Craig Charles has mostly done guest appearances. In which other series has he starred?"
Rebuttal
In both cases, the suggested change creates a displeasing wording and isn't very good grammar. While not ending statement in a preposition is usually striven for (but not as necessary as some people believe), ending a question in a preposition has always been preferred to starting the question with the prepositional phrase.

Okay, in my quiz"Thrash Metal" I just noticed something wrong.
This question, "#3 Which of these people quit the Thrash band Metallica to create the Thrash band Megadeth?" is wrong. It should say which of these people were KICKED OUT OF the Thrash Band Metallica AND LATER CREATED the thrash band Megadeth. If any of you quizmasters could fix that, it would be great.

3. Quizmasters cannot edit your quiz like editors can. They can look over and send back comments to you as to what needs to be changed. You need to be very careful with the submission guidelines for quizzes, because you cannot resubmit them forever.
They can't edit your quiz. You can find out what they can do The Trivia Section in a Nutshell

Oh, now I can't wait to try that quiz!
Tin, if it gets returned you can edit it, if it gets approved you can correct it.
Either way it'll work out... hopefully quickly... I'm hoping to get another A+ soon!

I see what you are saying with the 'also' part. Did this get addressed yet?

I think the "also" is a bit confusing. You might try to reword as: "What American Red Dwarf actor has guest starred in an episode of "Black Books"?"
The quizmasters now agree that ending a question with a preposition is acceptable.

Do you mean questions regarding what lateral thinking is,
or do you mean a quiz composed of problems that require lateral thinking to solve them?

I noticed that there is a Harry Potter Trivia quiz and wondered if I could do something similar but for general knowledge of film and TV. I don't want it to get rejected or returned so want to make sure It's alright to send before I do.

Don't panic!
You are more than welcome to submit a quiz about Harry Potter.
It would be rather dull if it contained all the same info as another quiz,
but it won't get flat out rejected if some of the info is covered again.
Just try and make your questions unique and you'll do fine
...and get good ratings too!

I just realized that my Pride and Prejudice quiz had a wrong answer. On question 10, the answer is supposed to be plain, but I forgot to click the right bubble... Since I don't think Quizmasters can edit quizzes, is there any way to reject this earlier? That was the only mistake.

Just like teasers, quizzes also stay their time in the queue and return to you after a certain number of quizmasters have reviewed them. As you already know, we cannot make corrections. You should also know we can't push the queue into moving any faster than it does now. Please be patient and you will know the outcome of your submission in due come.
