1: Are you afraid of death? how can u be afraid of smth that's inevitable?
2,3,4,5,6 and 7: NO ... people have only two natural fears: of loud voices and falling... so.. i don't care for the others
8: What was the first question I asked you? Are you even brave enough to open this?

Actually, now that I look at it, I think if I changed the first question your answers would be different. Most of you arn't afraid of death, but, what if you don't die peacefully or extremely impossibly fast?
Are you afraid of the pain that comes before death?
I also want to know, now, what scares you even more than death/pain (before death)?
My dad says that 80 percent of people who took a survey, said that the one thing they fear more than death/pain is speaking in front of an audience.

Death don't really scare me. Its the way death approaches that kind of scares me. Like with the long term, pain and suffering bit. I would rather die in my sleep or just have a very quick and painless death.

well... there is life after death.. so it must be something like u will be born again.. was that painful? don't remember... i don't think there is pain after death.. if u want pain, well here it is, in this world..
yeah, ok.. it might sound stupid... but i'm scared of dying of a heart-attack

i know that and i think it's a big mistake. i used to believe that too.. but it's just not right.. there are too many thingz in this life that are keep telling us that there is one... and if they not believe in this, ask them: "and after you die, what's happening to all your knowledge u gained during this life?"

I believe in Souls, and I believe that the souls goes to Heaven or hell. The knowledge, IMHO may even be forgotten at that I do not know. If one goes to heaven, then I believe it will be forgotten, the pain, sadness and even the friends and family for you have a new, the what was known when you had a body and lived upon this earth will be forgotten.
The same if you go to hell - you live in that torment and torture. But the life you had before is not forgotten, you will remember WHY you went there in the first place.
But the truth is, we WONT know what happens after death until we die.

i think that this heaven -and-hell thingy is just fairy-tales. maybe cause i'm not a religious person.. anyway.. i believe in souls too.. and i find the idea of reincarnation very interesting... the thingz that u made in this life, will take care to choose what r u going to be in the after life..and there was something about the soul trapped between the two worldz ( ghost, i think).. but i forgot it :-s

WOW Trick, you always seem to amaze me.
Let me explain something to you....FIRST off - some people BELIEVE that it is good to SUFFER before death - WHY? CAUSE THEY BELIEVE IN IT.
So, they believe in the soul, the good and evil, and this may explain why they don't mind suffering before death, and why some people of scared of suffering before death. We just spoke of other things may explain and even tell WHY we feel like we do about your question.(Or at least it was to me anyways. Sorry that you can't seem to grasp that.)

Religion is the root of all debates here on Braingle... Did you know that Atheism is a religion? Yes it is. I don't care what they say, it's a religion and we all know it. Religion is based on beliefs--so is Atheism. Religion always "knows" that it's right, whether or not it really is--so does Atheism. So in such of comparing Atheism to Religion, I've discovered they are the same thing. Having a religion doesn't mean being all fancy like the buddhists or catholics.
Death... I am not afraid of death for myself. I can not die until... Well, I just can't die until something happens. And if God is good like the bible says, that something isn't going to happen for another 78 years.

2: Are you afraid of spiders? Yes.
3: Are you afraid of yourself? No. I don't exactly surprise myself with anything.
4: Are you afraid of fear itself? No.
5: Are you afraid of losing? Losing what?
6: Are you afraid of the number 13? No.
7: Are you afraid of ...? An ellipsis? I don't think I've ever been afraid of those.
