See, change, as in you pay a dollar for something that costs less and you get back coins (say maybe a 5c), and then of course the obvious meaning of change. Found this hilarious, but again, this is coming from the person who laughs at e-v-e-r-y bad pun that flies over other people's heads, or that doesn't strike them as funny.
Of course, thinking about this for a bit, realised some other supernatural things that have happened to me and people I know:
I was about 7 at the time, sitting in a pizza parlor with my family. We had a window seat, and all four of us were sitting there waiting for the food to arrive. My dad had just come back in from parking the car, and I was staring out the window completely zoning out and not hearing anything they were saying, when suddenly! i see our car (yes, same license plate, same model, same brand, same colour, everything!) pull out of the parking spot, circle the lot, and park again. There was no valet parking. Nobody believed me. Still, I saw it, I swear! *twitch*
A friend of mine took a picture of herself. There was a face behind her, a really ghostly face. Nobody was there. (Turns out the camera moved, and it was just an afterimage of her. Whoops.)
One of my friends is obsessed with the supernatural. He insists that the best way to see something paranormal is to wake up at 3 am and do what he calls "dead time", where you write down and ask questions in the place that you think is haunted, and something supernatural just m-i-g-h-t appear... Actually his exact words were, "That's the best time to see demons and owls and other supernatural things." I'm like, "Owls... Dude, those are birds." (He claims he said something else, I don't believe him though. )
The same friend also is apparently "being stalked by a Christian mythology demon". Also according to him, if you say the name Labelle (or some such thing--personally don't believe it) you're "at war with six leigons of demons!"
Though, funny thing with saying names-- it was opening night of the school musical, I remember. I was carpooling with one of my other friends, and I said, just as a sort of random theater trivia thing, "You know, it's bad luck to say Macbeth in a theater on opening night." OF course, my friend responded with "Really?...Macbeth Macbeth Macbeth Macbeth Macbeth..." and so on and so forth until the show started. I was like, "What if that really IS bad luck? STOP SAYING IT JUST IN CASE!!!" She kept on, "Macbeth macbeth macbeth..." Then, about a minute into the play, there's this h-u-g-e blackout. All the lights down the whole block just... turn off. (It was a perfectly clear night--not a cloud in the sky, no storms for miles to have caused it.) Show had to be rescheduled for tomorrow. Maybe just an eerie coincidence, but I'm not taking my chances again!
I just read Twilight... Do you think Mother will mind if I marry a vampire? ATTENTION ALL TWILIGHT FANS!!! Go listen to the Mitch Hadsen Band! All the lyrics are based on Twilight! And also, talk to me if you want to discuss Breaking Dawn! |

Umm, I actually HANG OUT with my best friend.
(If you ever meet her, you will understand why that's supernatural.)

Interesting topic!
I've had many 'supernatural' things happen to me. Being a musician and artist perhaps moves me a little into the field of sensitivity. I don't know. I have definately had experiences with my maternal grandmother following her sudden death, and my step-father following his death from cancer. In fact, with my step-father, two of my friends at the time (a policeman and policewoman) rented his apartment following his death (not knowing anyone had even died there) and they ended up staying only a couple of months and asked me if anyone had died there. They left and refused to stay any longer. I had actually encountered the experiences they experienced before I rented the apartment out, but wasn't the least bit afraid. What I experienced was a 'good' feeling.
I wont bore you with the details, only to say I believe there certainly are things that involve loved ones who have died that we cannot explain.

There was this TV talent show called "One and Only" Where people imitate there favourites singers for a Las Vegas Contract. Well, A couple of weeks ago, I was reading the newspaper and it gave the odds of each contestant winning. Now, one particular one was one of the worst likely to win. That night I had a dream that the particular person won, and sure enough, a week later she did!!!

At the moment I don't have any supernatural things that have happened to me, but last year my math teacher told us a story about her mom. Her mom was sick I guess in the hospital and my teacher was there. (this was many many years ago, probably when my teacher was in her teens or 20's. I'm not sure) They were talking and then her mom did something-like gave her a sign that it was her time to leave. The heart monitor went blank and started beeping. She was dead. My teacher said she heard this come from her dead mother. "You aren't?" "Really?"....something like that. Well then the heart monitor started up again and she was back alive. The nurses and such came rushing in, but saw she was alive. Her mother went on to live like a year or two longer and she told my teacher that when she "died" she was floating through this black tube and at the end everything was so beautiful. Well then she said that she saw Christ and that he said he wasn't done with her and that he wanted her to go back on earth and live longer. And "You aren't?" and "Really?" were her responses. Now my teacher told it in a better way since she actually knew and was there, but that's something how she told us last year.
Always look ahead in life and you'll be in front of everyone; you'll expect anything, so there will be no fear. |

It's really interesting to read of other people's experiences; I don't feel so weird.
I was driving home from work one afternoon and about a block away from a green light. I stepped on it so I wouldn't miss the light, but just then I felt something on my shoulder, like a pat, and a voice in my ear said "slow down!". That startled me so much I pulled my foot off the gas and stopped on the yellow. Just then a car from the cross street jumped his light and went through the intersection. Had I made the light we would have collided. I have had other "guardian angel" experiences, but that one is the most recent and most vivid.
Hope everyone has a guardian angel looking after you!

one time me and my god sister where upstairs in her house and we decided 2 play with her toys.she was showing me a box of toys that she has but doesnt play with anymore when i saw her barbie car(i was quite young) and wanted to play with it.she was like u cant it has no batteries then i was like well u can still drive it but you'd have 2 do it by hand. so where playing with it but then it got boring pushiing the car manually so we started playing with her dolls when suddenly the car jus rolled across the room...fast not slow...then it jus keep driving in circles...we got scared then put the car in the closet.it stopped moving...then later when i was leaving her house we heard the car start up again in the closet!
