Any tips on getting high popularity. My QC grade won't go up above a C+, and if it does, 5,000,000 corrections come in (not literally) and throw it back down to C+. Any tips?

Put your quizzes in proofreading before you submit it. This will get you a greater chance of it getting accepted first time around.
For popularity, there's no real 'secret'. Just make quizzes the majority of the population can relate to.

any time you want to submit a correction, make sure you're 100% on the correction

When you guys are saying QC grade, do you mean quiz creator or quiz corrector? Each is calculated very differently.

In this case, I belive the QC they are talking about is Quiz Creator.

I don't know about anyone else, but I think that a lot of times the corrections suggested are a bit trivial. Like, should the comma be outside the quotes or in. And, I've noticed that what gets approved is not always correct. I have a college degree in english and sometimes the grammar corrections that are allowed are actually incorrect. This goes for the comments from quizmasters during reviews as well. I've been told the silliest things sometimes. Once, I was told to put a space after all slashes, even though there was a space after all the slashes. All this makes it hard to keep scores up.

I am not in college. But I do make perfect A's in English. I have also had trouble with quiz corrections and QMs telling me things I know are not so.
And I am not sure, but has anyone else had trouble with a quiz getting returned 3 times (every chance possible) over 1 or 2 mistakes that should have been found the first time? This might just be my experience, but could they be returning them over and over to up their grade and get more quizzes for their QM award? I do not know this to be a fact, but it seems plausible.

As a QM, I can assure you with complete honesty that I would never deliberately return a quiz without pointing out all the mistakes I find, simply for the sake of reviewing more quizzes, and I cannot imagine a single QM who would, for that matter. However, QMs are human, and I know there have some times when I and the other QM returning a quiz failed to notice some corrections that should have been caught the prior review. In such cases, if there are just a few small errors and not many other major mistakes, I will usually mark it as a minor correction, but if the submitter has simply made more errors while attempting to fix a stated error, it's harder to generalize. If a quiz is on its last submit and just has one or two mistakes (non-answer related) and these mistakes were not pointed out previously, I will in almost all cases accept it.

Also, while QMs are of course responsible for doing accurate and thorough reviews, it is also the job of quiz submitters' to check their own quizzes for spelling, grammar, formatting, etc; use the proofreading tool if necessary; read the Quiz Making Guidelines regularly; research facts using credible courses; etc. We QMs try to do the best we can, but unfortunately, we can't always find every small mistake in one review, much as we try and would love to. Please excuse any QMs' shortcomings... after all, we are human.
