My niece is a freshman in college.
She told me she can not use wilkipedia as a research reference, because anyone can edit it and facts do not need to be verified.
Can I use wilkipedia as a reference for a quiz question?

Yes, you are allowed to, and Wikipedia is certainly more preferable to many "joke" sites. However, it's best to use another, more established site whenever possible. Also, Wikipedia will show whether or not an article has factual verification, so as long as the one you use has information supported by other, reliable sites, it's fine. I hope this helps!

wikipedia always works itself out to become true over time. If someone changes it to be false, someone later will change it with the correct info (if this make sense)
