I thought it would be a great way to help people proofread, post a link to the quiz you need to be proofread and maybe there is a better chance of it getting proofread. Or maybe it's a bad idea and it will get locked.

I don't know how to get my link where my quiz is being proofread. People's own quizzes don't show up in this section. How did you get yours?

Just a note: Though most of the quizzes I've seen in proofreading are fine save for some minor errors, there are a few quizzes that I've noticed don't have ten questions. There are perhaps two or three actual questions followed by a number of rather random words in lieu of questions, saying that more questions will be added if people think it's a good idea and likely to be accepted. Please try to remember proofreading is just that - proofreading. It's a tool to help you find and correct small spelling/grammar/formatting errors prior to submitting and your quiz should be in "final" form in terms of having questions. If you're not sure whether or not a topic is acceptable or a good idea, please use the Ask Ed/QM or Trivia forums.

I agree with that 4demo, but I have actually done that.  I thought the longer it was in proofread the better grade I would get, but that is untrue, and people actually do proofread you quizzes, but most of the time they just don't tell you that everything is fine, they normally won't say anything.
