Hello, I'm a crafter of logic puzzles.

Hello, Braingle community!

I have Asperger's Syndrome, which is a high-functioning form of autism. As a result, I have been relatively gifted (although most of the people who know me will insist that "relatively" is a severe understatement) in math and logic. Hence, solving and constructing puzzles, especially logic puzzles, is easily one of my favorite hobbies. I'm already a member of another puzzle community* and operate a logic puzzle blog*, but I figured that any opportunity to share my puzzles with the world, and maybe also have some other puzzles to work on, is worth a shot. I hope that I can contribute a little bit to this community. o.o I see that my Logic-Grid teaser "Eliza Pseudonym and Her Strange Dreams" was just approved today, so I suppose that's a good start!

* Is it all right if I post links to these sites? I hope that it wouldn't be considered spam to do so, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. If it matters, I have no financial interest in either site.

Welcome to braingle! You do have an amazing gift. Usually posting links would be considered spam, but if they're to do with logic and brain teasers, it should be fine.

Thanks for the welcome, grilledcheese and Pop Qla.

I am definitely enjoying this place. I like the wide variety of teasers here; it's very interesting. Also, I look forward to having more of my teasers accepted. I've got a few more Eliza Pseudonym problems that I am definitely going to submit when my queue opens up.

Since I've been told that it won't be spam (I'm glad I asked first), the other puzzle community I'm on is a site called The Grey Labyrinth. It has a wide variety of puzzles, with heavy emphasis on the Visitor Submitted Puzzles forum. I've been a member for eight years, and while I can't say I was a very mature forum user at first, I have developed a lot during those eight years, and I hope that my behavior on this site and on the other communities I'm in shows it.

My logic puzzle blog is titled, cleverly enough, A Cleverly-Titled Logic Puzzle Blog. I've owned it for about five months now, and have posted 116 puzzles. While there are a few Eliza Pseudonym puzzles there, most of the puzzles are of the grid-based variety. There are, of course, a few Sudoku puzzles (which are known as Crowd Nine on my blog) and a few Kakuro puzzles (known as Totally Awesum), but there are also many other logic puzzle genres, such as Fencing Match, Pearls of Wisdom, and Polyominous, which are more obscure and equally ridiculously named. If you like Sudoku, you're very likely to enjoy my blog! Just be warned: a lot of the puzzles aren't easy. . . .

By the way, I don't think many of my blog's puzzles would be appropriate for Braingle's text-only format. That's kinda sad, but eh. D= XD

They didn't so much come up with it as pioneer the internet version thereof, but yeah.

As mentioned above, I have a puzzle blog. If you don't mind me bumping this topic, I would like to know how best to gain exposure for said puzzles on Braingle, either by promoting the site in some fashion (as I am doing in my signature and on my Wiki) or by submitting its puzzles as teasers (as I have done with two of the Eliza Pseudonym puzzles). Since paul726 sent me a PM recently in which he asked me whether or not I've considered posting the puzzles on Braingle, I would really like to know now. Anybody have any good ideas?

Aside from the Eliza Pseudonym puzzles, almost all of my blog's puzzles involve special grids which don't seem likely to adapt easily to Braingle's text-only format. Here are three smaller examples of puzzles I would like to submit, if at all possible: a Fencing Match puzzle, a Numeral Crossing puzzle, a Pearls of Wisdom puzzle. Is there some way I can submit these as teasers?

Barring that, would they perhaps be suitable for the Games directory? I don't think they would be, since they lack interactivity. Maybe a game version of some puzzles could be made, although I can't program anything myself. Still, it's an idea.

Barring that, I can always make more Eliza Pseudonym puzzles, or possibly more teasers of other types, like language teasers. I am a rabid fan of wordplay.
