Here's how to do it. Get the previous player's number, evaluate the operation she or he left in the post and associate that number with something else. State also another operation involving your number. Example:

Player A: 1: Number of Earths in the Solar System. 1+2*4
Player B: 9: Number of lives cats are believed to have. 9+sqrt25
Player C: 14: Number of years the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom lasted. 14/2*100+21-10
Player D: 711: A convenience shop! 711-611

If the operation does not result in an integer, simply round it off to the nearest integer.

I'll start with 21.

21: Amount per cent of oxygen in air. 21-4
