(I don't think you know what a gorgon is.)
C)
You stand there wondering what could possibly scare a Gorgon. You have no armor or mirror. He decide to loot the Gorgon's house. You find...
A) the Holy Grail
B) the Golden Fleece (Jason and the Argonaugts)
C) and original manuscript by Robert Frost
(Gorgons are the creatures from Greek Mythology that have snakes for hair. If you look one in the eyes you turn to stone.)

C)
Never letting a strange opportunity pass by without providing an advantage, you decide to break into the gorgon's house and grab something of value. The first thing you find happens to be an old, dust-ridden parchment signed by famous American poet Robert Frost. It's an original too, nothing like what you had to read in school. But, it's a bit ... well, let's just say you can see why it wasn't published.
A) The document is written in a seemingly undecipherable language
B) The document was written after Frost was a bit too tipsy
C) The document is a rejected jingle composed for Ford motors including notes for the ukulele

Impressive, Roger.
B) The document was written after Frost was a bit too tipsy
You can tell, too, since it has strange references to the seasons, his hobbies, and, uh, things I'd rather not describe.
But hey, maybe you can salvage it, somehow.
A) You will tell everyone it was written by his identically-named cousin.
B) You will pretend there's hidden messages in it.
C) You will make paper airplanes (plural, yes) out of it.
D) You will decide against trying to save it. This is obviously NOT what scared Medusa back there.

[I think I see a pattern here...]
I - Ponder on the philosophical consequences of a deceased poet having more astronomical information than NASA
J - Think of something more likely to "decode" in the documents, probably just a get rich scheme to make some quick money
K - You take so long to respond that it seems the gorgon's back and notices the manuscript you took
[Maybe not the best choices, but still technically relevant and if it will get us out of meme central....]

I won't go into details, but you now have such a clear head that you manage to find a magic portal to the library. Goodbye gorgon! (What? I had to do *something*.)
Now what?
A) Put this scheme into action. Or try to.
B) Write a book about it.
C) Look for a magic portal back.
D) Construct an elaborate plan involving two tons of dynamite.

I just had to pick that one. I mean, who doesn't love Snow White, Aladdin, and Huck Finn?
A) Me, I don't love them.
B) Right! And who needs rhetorical questions!
C) Why is the narrator breaking the fourth wall like this? Let's just get on with the story.
D) What kinda choice is this! Let's rewrite this part of the story with something more sensible.
E) Your mom.
