1) First person says a statement, e.g. Braingle rules!
2) Second person invents a conspiracy theory about the first statement, e.g. I bet Jake paid you to say that!
3) Second person says another statement*, e.g. I'm drinking water.
4) Third person invents a conspiracy theory about the second statement, e.g. I bet there's some secret ingredient in it that will make you better at cycling!
*This part can be skipped. In this case, the conspiracy theory can be regarded as the second statement, forming a chain:
Braingle rules!
I bet Jake paid you to say that!
I bet you were paid by the CIA to make these false accusations!
I bet you were paid by the CIA's enemy!
etc.
