I have two kitties, a boy and a girl. The boy is named Spooky, and the girl is named Tina. Tina is 11 years old.

EDIT: Jeez, that's the first typo I've had in a few months.

OMG, my LIttle BB (cat) is SUCH a bedhog!!! At first, when I moved into my current apt., she slept under the bed all the time. Whether it was night and I was in bed, or day and I was up, she would sleep under the bed. In our previous apt. she always slept on the bed, on my feet, and the Alpha cat slept at my head! But even when Alpha Cat, Tiger, went to Cat Heaven, BB still slept at my feet.

So when we moved, I really missed her sleeping with me in bed, at/on my feet, and I used to ask her to sleep with me every night. Now... she sleeps in bed again! Great! But, she's a total Bedhog! She'll sleep right in the center of my pillow-clump, and when I tell her to please move over, she just looks around, yawns, and goes back to sleep. So, I gently put my hands under her chubby little body and gently slide her over so I can get in... And what does she do? She bites me! She bit me like, three out of five times, on the hand, when all she had to do was move over six inches!

But fortunately, she seems to be catching on, and now when she realizes I'm about to get in bed, she actually gets up and moves to the side so she'll be out of my way! At least, that's what she did the past two nights!

My little Nina the Dalmatian dog is a cutie. The family has nick named her Cooking Dog as she is always in the kitchen when I am cooking. She is soooo inquisitive...she sits at my side looking up, her nose twitching, smelling....and then she pounces up to have a look into the sink..."Oh..that smells divine! Do you need a taste-tester dog?"...and she gets told to get down...I am CONSTANTLY washing my hands with her around and wiping stuff....I am a bit over the top when it comes to hygiene, but I can't bear to throw her out. I even sewed her a Cooking Hat with "Cooking Dog" embroidered on its side [you're thinking, Snappy OBVIOUSLY has nothing to do! OR is a time waster!]

She has many fluffy, squeaky toys in her toy box. She chooses to play with different toys depending on her mood. And she remembers where they are...when she hasn't put them away.

I lie down with her and whisper stories into her ear. She loves the words Princess, Nina, Puppy, Park, Ninninunna, and just sweet whispered gibberish.

Oh she's just the most gorgeous little person-dog!

awwww... I talk to my BB constantly too... I say, "What's my BB?" "How's my little Sweetie? How's my Sweetheart? There's my Little BB! There she is!!!"

Hey deepsea, my BB is a Tabby also! They are so beautiful!

Garaph, can you get something, even a little turtle, bird, hamster, something small? It's so rewarding to have a pet, and to know that they totally depend on you and take care of them! Having pets and having a garden or just plants are two of the most rewarding human activities in my estimation!
