Definitely frowning right now... sorry to see Robin Williams possibly committed suicide today.

Like my daughter, being sick! Am beginning to hate doctor's offices again, but at least I got to come back home today instead of going to the hospital. At least for today. Fever, aches, cough.

The sound of the wild, but if there is no one there, does anyone hear their howls?

For the last day or so my stomach's been turning as I'm deciding whether to drop a class or not. I've pretty much never dropped a class but this one isn't necessary and I'd like all the free time I can get. But I also think I'd like the class and feel that I probably can pull through. On one side I really want to relax a little more in my last semester, but on the other I think I'd regret not taking this class.

I'll apparently lose some financial aid if I don't take four classes so ... I guess I'll keep it. I better not be too nervous, though. :/

Thank you Snappy. August 11th is probably the last post ICU entered here on Braingle. She has been very, very ill and at first they thought she might have West Nile virus again. She had a case of it a couple years ago. No that was not what it was. She has been in two hospitals in the last 10 days and they have diagnosed her with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She did get to return home today, but she will have to travel back down to the Cancer Center to start her chemo therapy. They are hoping after they get her started that she will be able to continue the chemo up at her local hospital. But right now she is just so tired of feeling so punk and she's not a happy camper. I have not said anything anywhere but Braingle as there are some people that she isn't ready to tell yet. Needless to say, the shock is still very new. Prayers and good thoughts hopefully will calm and comfort her. Thanks.

Knowing that ICU is so sick. Thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery going out to ICU, Grayma, and the entire family.

SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

I hope and pray she kicks this V. I know first hand what it's like to worry and stress over a loved one battling cancer - so praying for you as well.

Take all sorrow out of life and you take away all richness, and depth, and tenderness. The capacity of sorrow belongs to our grandeur. It is the furnace that melts hearts together in love. In loving memory of my dear friend Guy - take care Goobs . .

Vlerma,

I had NHL 6 years ago and I've been through chemo. A good prayer support group was the biggest help for me.
Let ICU know she's in my prayers and that I know exactly what she's going through.

Also, in keeping with this discussion thread:
Frowning for going back to the dentist for the 4th time in 4 weeks to fix the same tooth.
