I'm happy to say Happy Easter to all. If you don't celebrate, enjoy your day anyway!

I know my day was great with family and friends, even though my father in law was admitted into the hospital this morning to take care of a medicine problem. He should be fine at 92... his wife, my MIL, went to the family dinner - so I know it can't be too bad!

WE had fun! Shared a lovely meal with family...ate chocolate [as if I need an excuse to eat chocolate!!!!] and ate more chocolate! Next step is to celebarate a family birthday! Hmmm..now thinking about cake.......

my mom's bday is today-day after easter. She brought home a 1/4 of a cake then ate it herself...but I caught her. She got it from work, but most of it was eaten.

LOL U ACTUALLY THOUGHT I WOULD WRITE SOMETHING INTELLIGENT HERE!!!!!! ...DONT JUDGE ANYONE!!!!!

It snowed today and it is supposed to tonight

I'm on Braingle far too long, I stay on the computer from dusk to dawn. Playing games and chatting with friends, the novelity of it never ends.

Good to hear about everyone's Easters! We had a nice one too. My son who is 8 still loves hunting for eggs, so the Easter bunny hid them nicely. Then he got up before we did, found a few and re-hid them for his daddy and I. Was a fun day.

Life, however, has been challenging the last couple months (explaining my long absence this time). My mother in law passed away in February, so we have been taking care of her estate and finally planned her service which is this weekend. My hubby is taking it surprisingly well, but I know this is one of the hardest things for him to experience. All I can do is make sure to be there when he does occasionally break down.

Vlerma- Glad to see you here! Was worried when I didn't see a post for a while.

Hope all is well.

Shawn- I'm glad I was able to make you smile. I have big gaps in my visits sometimes, so when I do come back, I like to check in here and see what the current events in the Braingle family are. You seemed like you were having a frustrating bout with the flu, which I am glad to see seems to have resolved itself!

4wheels- Winter has finally arrived here too...we are finally getting rain; but I miss the snow. I know that people who live in it all the time often don't feel that way, but I still do.

April Fools was a non-event for us though my Bro & Girl did perpetrate a great big whammy on Sis...

Easter... rained so we hid eggs all over Nana's house.. coffee filter, slippers, doors, windows, curtains..

Tonight went to Town Hall Meeting, lovely.

Looking forward to Friday the 13th... always interesting to see people get all wooly about it.

Work'll be moving. Was poda be this weekend, open Monday in new shop, but it's been moved to 30th.

Err... that's about all the updates from this port so... *poof*

Melanmel - No, I actually mean winter arrived 5 months late. We had a very mild "winter" and now we are getting the rain, hail, etc. that would normally come in January. It's crazy!
