My Bible app is trying to get people to share the Bible on Christmas. This is what the website says.
What Is It?
Last year, we started a new Christmas Day tradition: Global Share the Bible Day. On this one day every year, the entire YouVersion community, wherever they are in the world, shares what they love about the Bible. It's a simple way we can bring visibility to the story of God's love for us.Why?
It's easy to get caught up in the busyness surrounding the holidays and lose sight of what Christmas is all about: God's gift to the world of His only Son. Global Share the Bible Day helps us remind ourselves and others. It also creates great opportunities to start conversations about our faith.How Does It Work?
It's easy. All day on Sunday, December 25, simply take a few opportunities to share anything you love about the Bible. Tweet using the hash tag #Bible
. Update your Facebook status. Change your blog or website home page. Visit with someone you meet. And before Christmas, we'd love your help in spreading the word. Let your friends know what we're doing, and ask them to join us. (You can even just direct them to this page.)
Stuff to share:
* Your faith. What has God done in your life?
* Your favorite verse. Why? What does it mean to you?
* The Christmas Story. What's your favorite part?
So help share the Bible this Christmas.

Romans 3:23-25 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
This is one of my favorite sets of verses.

It is not an averitisement. It was meant to be able to start a conversation. Also, why is it intolerant?

There is absolutely nothing intolerant in this thread (so far), and if it constitutes "advertisement" then so does the entire Entertainment forum.

I will tell you what is intolerant and totally unforgivable about this post, it is the fact that some one thinks they have the god given right to post about the chocolate bible when I am on a diet. Smite your chocolatey temptations to salady hell!!!
