What's Gangnam Style? I think I've overheard someone saying something like this a few days ago, but I assumed it was (an approximation of) the Cantonese pronunciation of 'south of Chang Jiang'.

Even if you really don't like a song, doesn't mean it needs to be banned. Just don't listen to it. I think it's hilarious.

Is this some new fad or something? :/ I can't say I like it, but then again I can't say I'm a fan of K-pop. It's too much like American pop. This song, in particular, is pretty annoying.

Banning, however, obviously, is a bit much.

You crazy kids and your "meme arrows" (cracks me up, every time). After having looked this up, I noticed two interesting things about it:

1. The refrain is "oppan, Gangnam Style" which I like, not because of the song itself or what it refers to, just because I like the term "oppa." :} It's like "onii-chan," so it's good in my book.

2. It's funny that people are saying the Japanese are keeping people "in the dark" because of the lack of media attention it gets. The lack of media attention a popular earworm should apparently get. Well, while not banning it, I'd be in favour of that method. Call me fascist, but I'd rather hear more about politics than what the latest celebrity has to say about this, "lolz so crazy." Old and new grudges aside, ignoring bad pop is generally the right choice to make.
