Hey im a bit confused about something.
So im planning on having a few sketchbooks, each with a different type of drawing.
1) animals
2) fantasy art
3) fan art
4) portraits
5) carictures (if ive spelt that right)
In my fan art book this will have characters from cartoons, video games etc, so they will not look like real people (so homer simpson, zelda characters, etc).
Im my portrait book it will have a mix of portraits of people such as helena bonham carter, johnny depp etc (so itll be realistic fan art) and portraits of my mates and people i know. This book will be a study of human faces basically, famous and not famous.
So if i was to draw a character from a film where would i put it? So say i drew johnny depp as sweeney todd, or heath ledger as the joker, where would i put it? Im thinking pit it in portraits because its still a study of the human face, but im no too sure.
So can anyone suggest anything itll be really appreciated!

I think it would fit more in portraits, but you could do two and put one in each. But really, portraits are better. Or you could expand the fan art to be general movie/video game characters.
Congrats on being able to draw so well in the first place!
