Yesterday, I switched my keyboard layout to Dvorak because I had read that it was faster and better for your hands. I'm using it to write this post. Here's what it looks like:

So far, it's been torturously difficult. My hands aren't used to it and it's really hard to not start typing like I would on QWERTY. My speed has slowed to around 15 WPM. (It was about 40 or so on qwerty) But it is only the second day, so hopefully I'll get better at it fast.

What do you think about alternate keyboards, whether Dvorak, Colemak, or something I haven't heard of? Do you or would you use one?

QWERTY keyboards, being the default, are more useful, but the key layout isn't balanced like Dvorak ones. I personally prefer QWERTY because they show up when I'm going to need to type if it's not my own keyboard.

Greetings, fellow traveler.
