Next up in the hot seat is another long time member of Braingle who is not only known for her love of football, but for her involvement in various games on site.. - Welcome Longhorn_fan!

But first: Guidelines for interviewing:

Only five questions per post - and you aren't able to ask more questions until your five have been answered. This is to avoid huge lists of questions being put to the interviewee making answering them a daunting task. It should also improve the quality of the questions and the answers.

I have a few of my favorite questions to get this interview started, so here goes:

1. How did you stumble across Braingle?

2. What part of Braingle is your favorite and why?

3. When you go out to dinner, what do you usually order?

4. What is your favorite holiday?

5 - Are you an only child or do you have siblings?

Hey LH!

1. What was/is your favorite vacation/vacation spot?

2. What was the weirdest food you've ever had?

3. What was your best subject in school?

4. What about football is so interesting? I don't understand lol.

Hello All:

well I came across Braingle while Googling IQ tests and teasers. I did quizes and played random brainteasers for 8 months before I made an account.

My favorite part of braingle is WWG and doing Soduko

When I go out to dinner I order depending on the restraunt.
Itilian I usually will get chicken parmesan with a ceaser salad and a glass of Chianti, sometimes I will order lagagna but I am picky about that so it is a rarity. I do not generally order cream sauce dishes due to cholestrol and fats, plus the milk does not agree with me. Mexican...well I can eat anything mexican, the hotter the better I enjoy a good cheeseburger or BBQ sandwitch as well. I will also go out for greek, Thai, indian, or moroccan food. I also love to cook

My favorite holiday would probably be Christmas. In some aspects it brings back sad memories but having my daughter to spend it with really gives me somethinmg to look forward to and i appreciate the way that love and kindness tend to be a little more evident at that time of year, although weather wise, i do enjoy July 4th LOL.

Only child: that is a tough one.......I am an only child on my mom's side. My father re-married when I was 11 and they had 2 children when I was 14 and 15 so I have a younger half brother and a younger half sister......Much younger as we are a generation apart and it is apparent that we were brought up in 2 different worlds when we get together. I have a step brother who I am 8 years older than and we gel a little better as the generation gap is not so extreme. But we all get along well and we have fun when we get to get together.

My favorite vacation spot is Jamaica, hands down. My retirement plans consist of retiring to mountains in Jamaica and having a malaria clinic. There is NO reason why children should die of a disease we have a vaccine for.

The wierdest food I have ever had......sea-side restraunt in Greece iles I had a plate of Raw octopus tenticles served to me....was NOT expecting that...Plate full of grape leaves, olives, and raw tenticles. Not the best food ever but I ate it.

My best subject in school is science and art. I actually have a degrees in theatre and science.

Football is awesome. Violence, bragging rights, yelling and screaming, cheering for your team, buying all sorts of cool football stuff and getting it for b-days and christmas ....I got a Longhorn birdhouse and wind-chime this year, EXCITING for MY garden. I grew up in west Texas....foootball is life there (Friday Night Lights)....I grew up in that town. I played football with the boys all through gradeschool....also played hockey, guess I like violent sports, however I find boxing to be a major bore. Scars with all the battle stories, got on on my right elbow from coming down on another player helmet when I jumped up for a catch LOL...Yes, I was a tomboy. I guess football is just my sport. If I could I would marry a football player but they would never be interested in me. I am the girl next door who enjoys playing sports, not the model who looks like a trophy on their arm.

Couple more questions that I have for you.

1. I know you work in an orthopaedic doctor's office. What exactly is your job description?

2.If you can, please tell us a little about the worst case your office has had to treat. (Of course, no names, please)

3. I know it's tough to work with the public, especially with those who are sick or hurting. Do you like people or just tolerate them?

4. You are an actor auditioning for a role in an upcoming movie. What is your dream role that you hope to land?

5. The old standby: You are stranded on a desert island, what 3 things did you have the foresight to bring with you so you can survive until you are rescued?

I am an Ortho tech and a medical assistant. I assist the Dr in all procedures (injections, aspirations....office surgeries ect). If you need a cast or a brace, I do it. I generally assess the patient for my Dr and take a history of what their issue is. I assess what imaging needs to be done. I will write out therapy orders and do RXs. If you need an MRI, I order it. I am the one that makes the patients think the doctor knows them and remembers them.

The worst case I have ever seen in my office was a soccer player who tried to do a "Pale Kick, bicycle kick) and he put his arm down to catch him and "CRACK"...both bones broke in half and his arm looked like it had 2 elbows that bent in opposite directions, needless to say he was sent for surgery.....My doctor that I work for does not to O.R. surgery. I generally do not see too much crazy stuff but I get my kicks on occasion LOL.

I actually love people, My patients are very special to me. I actually detest the healthcare system cause I see how people are treated because of it. Yes, the occassional stupid person annoys me but all in all I love my patients and I go above and beyond in any way I can for them. I have continually been given "customer service awards" in my system...which employees over 10,000 people.

My dream role I would hope to land...wow that is a tough one. IDK......I like all sorts of stuff. Physically challenging roles as well as emotionally challenging roles would be prime but hard to get those together at the same time. One of my favorite characters of all time is Princess Buttercupp but I also like the Resident Evil chick and Rose from Titanic LOL

I am stranded on a desert island? What would I bring? A pocket knife, a hankerchief so I could collect water, and hopefully I would be stranded with my daughter.

Hey deb Things are good.

I consider myself serious and easy going depending on the situation. During work I am serious, and anything that is business oriented.....When I am with my friends and family I am generally easy going. I tend to go with the flow and take what God gives me.

Places I have been to US: Cali, Oragon, Wash DC, NY, Baltimore, Florida, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Louisania, Missouri, Alabama, Georgia, New Mexico, Arizona, Kansas, Nevada, Ok and TX
Abroad: England, France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, Germany, Monaco, Litichenstein, Morocco, Belgium, Netherlands, Monte Carlo, Austria, Jamaica, The Bahamas, Mexico, and The Cayman Islands (don't think I missed any)

Good food in Tulsa: Mexican food Mr Taco, it is on Lewis ave just north of I-244, If in South Tulsa, Chimi's. Pizza: Hide-A-Way Pizza 51st and memorial in Fontana shopping center. Gyros: Jim's on Harvard just north of 21st, Asian food: TiKei's on Utica near 21st, Burgers: Brownies, there is one on 71st near Sheridan and one on Harvard near 15th. Hope that helps. Next time in Tulsa Call Me!! I will show you a place or two.

I do still have family in Texas. My dad and step-mom and my little sister and my brothers. My grandparents on my step-mom's side (as my grandparents all died before I graduated from high school), I also have some aunts and uncles and cousins there. Some in Arlington and the rest near west Texas (Odessa/Midland).

My favorite flower, mmmnn I actually have several. I love sunflowers, lillys, daisys, and tulips I grow a garden every spring with flowers and veggies

Ok LongHorn . . . . .

1) Why a fan of LongHorns? Do you have something against ShortHorns?

2) Between the 3, which would you prefer - a) tall, dark and handsome b) average height, fair and handsome c) John Stamos

3) Country girl or City slicker?

4) Game Shows or Reality TV Shows?

5) Jimmy Fallon or Arsinial Hall (sorry if I butchered that first name)?

That's it for now. . . . . . . .

These were vacations...yes. I am a big fan of planning and saving. Sometimes things take a few years in the planning and saving stage but it is worth it. I have lived in some locations: TX, OK, CA, England. Some places I have been several times. England , France, Jamaica, Bahamas.

I do not really want to move back to TX. I might look at the Freeport area but never back to west Tx unless I had to. Too brown and flat and dry.

I guess I have always been a self motivator. I just do stuff. It has to get done so might as well just do it.

1. Longhorns vs Shorthorns......well I guess if you gotta grab life by the horns then long ones are easier to hold onto.

2. I do not want a man shorter than me...I am 5'7", and I wear heels sometimes so need a man about 5'10"+. Not dark, I am white...you need shades when I wear shorts LOL. Handsome

3. City girl 90% country 10%

4. Game shows...like to think.

5. Jimmy Fallon...but I do not watch it

Hi Longhorn. Just a few easy questions for you today!

1. Do you prefer sunrise or sunset and why?

2. What is your idea of an absolutely perfect day?

3. When it is raining, would you rather be curled up with a book and hot drink in front of a fire or watching a move eating popcorn?

4. If you could spend 48 hours with anyone (absolutely anyone in past or current time), who would it be and why?

5. Since you stated above that you prefer game shows because they make you think, have you ever played "You Don't Know Jack"?

Thanks!

Froggy.

1. I prefer the sunrise. I do not get to see them often since I like to sleep so I enjoy them. Although both are beautiful.
2. Perfect day....sleep till about 9, coffee and about an hour of quiet. Go out on a walk and enjoy the sunshine. Then a nap with Mk after a book. BBQ with friends a and have a beer or two. The beach would be involved if I lived near one.
3. Watching a movie in front of a fire with popcorn
4. This one is split. Bruce Willis ;) and Norah Jones. She write songs and produces her music. She has built to this of course but she is a great soul. She has a humble life and does a lot of charity work.
5. Yes I have played "you don't know jack".

Your welcome

Hey softy.

I love the beach.....goodness the mountains are nice though... But beach, yes.

Snow.
I am totally a cat person. I lobe dogs but vats are independent and loving. Dogs are needy and invade my bubble. But I lobe all my animals very much...even scooter the lap dog.

Flip flops....I love the feeling of grass on my feet but growing up in west Texas we had stickers. I got one in my foot as a child and just ripped it out and on my way I went....a few months, maybe a year later my foot had a painful knot. Long story short had to have surgery and could not walk for 7 weeks. The sticker broke in my foot and my immune system attacked it. So must protect my feet lol.

Jetsons....IDK why....just enjoy oy more....but I like Dino more than Rosie

Babies..... Definitely. They sleep, wake up you feed them, change them, play with them and hold them for 15+20 mins and they sleep again. Teens? OMG I am going to have one before I want one

Classic rock but country is good if in the mood. Music is all about mood
