The options are listed in order of when they were/are/will be released. Choose the one that most applies and tell us why! (z)

(apologies if there are movies missing. at a certain point, the thing's only telling me some of the movies that are important yet hasn't bolded movies that are clearly important like Captain America, for instance, so I'm kind of guessing a lot here...)

You didn't include enough options!

I'm probably most excited about Horrible Bosses (Kevin Spacey ), but I've been waiting for Hangover Part 2 the longest. So Hangover has my vote.

I wish you could choose multiple options! There's definitely more than one movie I was most excited for

I voted for Green Lantern - I'm not gonna lie, I think Ryan Reynolds is smokin'.

I'm also excited for Harry Potter, X-Men: First Class, the Muppet Movie, and Captain America.

I was excited for Never Say Never before it came out, though. I went and saw it with my friends.

Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely excited for HP7.2 and Pirates4 and the Hangover sequel.
I totally am.

But ultimately, I'm a girl. The kind of girl whose boyfriend hates the movies I want him to take me to see.
So I go with my best friend. And we see things like No Strings Attached. And I love them.
And then I see previews for RomComs that aren't coming out for 4 or 5 months, and I get excited and go see it.

Although I did see Thor this past weekend, and that was definitely decent.

Totally agree!!!

Green Lantern seems good though, and I'd see it even without Ryan Reynolds. Probably.

I'm also looking forward to HP7 (which is what I chose) and the new Pirates movie, which I haven't seen yet but hope to soon.

Tell it to Jake! Who will thank you for the idea and then get back to whatever it is he does, which keeps him extremely busy and ensures that, even if he really wanted to, he probably couldn't actually make the fix.
I wonder, however, if perhaps Froggy has the power to make such adjustments. Probably not. But maybe...

I'm sorry, but I can't agree. Seeing the majority of films on this list makes me depressed and feel bad for the movie industry. Honestly, I either see a lot of remakes, sequels, things that sound or were dreadful or some things I've never heard of. I can only hope that the things I've never heard of aren't as bad as the rest.

I voted for Rango because, though I wasn't looking forward to it, it was pretty good and I did like the trailer relatively well. Maybe that counts? I'll probably see the last Harry Potter film, but I'm not really looking forward to it. Not that I hate the series, I just don't "squee".

I'm looking forward to an anime that should be coming out this year or so, but it's not in film format so I guess it doesn't belong here. There are a few shows (anime and live action) that I want to see actually. I guess I've never been much of a modern film buff.

It's true. The only original live-action movie this year is JJ Abrams' & Steven Spielberg's SUPER 8

JJ Abrams has said that Super 8 isn't actually a tribute to old Spielberg movies, despite claims that it is. It is however greatly influenced by those, obviously, being that it's set in '79 and Spielberg helped with it a lot. But it's still an original movie.
It is not a sequel to Cloverfield and it actually has characters and a real plot, so JJ Abrams isn't screwing us over again.

Well, I'm looking forward to many. My favorite one, though, would have to be Bridesmaids, as my friends and I are going to see it together and cause a rukus. (You didn't hear it from me)

Most of the movies coming out in the next twelve months are remakes or sequels :/

Ok. I just about peed whenever I saw a preview for X-Men: First Class. Sure, I'm a girl, whatever, but I really loved that movie. And that James McAvoy - don't even get me started. xD

Go see Super 8 if you haven't yet. It's the only movie this year not a remake, sequel, or based-off-something-else.

But now that Super 8 is already out, NOW the most anticipated movie this year that's not auto-anticipated by a huge group of little girls, is Sherlocke Holmes 2.
