AI only has 1/5 of that. Cheapskates.

 That's true, but it's not all about the money. If I went on that show, I'd rather get third because you wouldn't be tied with a contract. Like Chris Daughtry and many others, you'd be well known, compared to the winner of the season. (Taylor Hix) You're all probably staring at the screen thinking: Taylor Who? It's true. The first place winners are almost never heard from besides Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson. Other than that, they're wrapped up in their contracts, and they don't get many fans. I'm a huge Adam Lambert fan, by the way. He got second, but he's much more widely known than Chris...Something-or-Other.
GA, I see your point with being more inclusive. Also, I believe the age limit is lower, which is cool.

Kris Allen.
I'm watching the performances right now! 
I'll edit in what I think of each performances as they happen.
Josh Krajcik - he's in my top four favourites, but this week he wasn't too good in my opinion... I couldn't really hear him, and it just wasn't his genre.  I did not like his performance this week.
Astro - he was good, he always is with his lyric writings. I guess I'm kind of bored with the rapping though...
Drew - she was amazing! As usual. I really wanted her to stand up at some point in the song, and it looked like she wanted to as well. But yes, she was so good. She hit the notes, and wow. I really liked this one.
Rachel Crow - she is probably my favourite in the competition, but this week, I think she just got lost in the song... she does so much better when she is belting out ballads...  I just hope this song doesn't send her home.  I really hope she gets through to the top 5.
Marcus Canty - he is into the Michael Jackson style I guess, so he put on a decent performance. However, he isn't in my top 5 contestants remaining, so I want him to go, but if it was based on performances, then I don't think he should go. This week was more of his genre, than say Josh Krajcik...
Chris Rene - he wasn't in my top 5 before tonight, but he was good tonight, in my opinion! I think he did well, and he sounded nice, and chilled and relaxed, and he was very genuine. I liked it a lot. 
Melanie Amaro - amazing. I love Haley Reinhart's AI version of this song, so I was like  when I heard the beginning of the music play... but Melanie is absolutely great. She definitely deserves to be in the top 5. She has such a good voice.

Worst performance - Josh Krajcik
If I got to choose the top 5, I would choose Melanie, Rachel, Drew, Josh and Astro. But I don't think I am going to get my way...
I just HOPE one of the girls doesn't go. All three girls need to go through.

Josh is usually a boss. I think he's suffering under Nicole's direction though. That performance was terrible.
I hate that Chris Rene guy...I'd be pleased if he went out tomorrow. I think Drew had the best performance tonight. She reminds me of an Adele-type singer, and she would definitely be popular in modern or hipster circles if she plays her cards right.

I don't think anyone was really very good last night. Maybe because no one can really live up to Michael Jackson, so they all seemed second best, if you know what I mean. And I'm really not liking all the conflict the judges seem to be having with each other and especially Simon.The negative comments seemed quite personal last night to me.
Rachel didn't seem a bubbly and happy as she normally is, but gosh, 5 million is a lot to be singing for.

Just because I thought the 4 above her were better last night. I was really impressed by Marcus Canty whereas I hadn't been in the past. And Drew keeps singing the same type of song over and over, I'd like to see something a little different from her.I have no doubt she will move on to the next round, though.

I can not believe Drew went home. And over Marcus? Are you kidding me?
The judges are dumb. Drew was so good. Argh. Astro going home is fine by me. He wasn't in my top four acts. I wanted all three boys gone. Urgh. Oh well, I guess Drew was probably my least favourite out of my top 4... so GO MELANIE, RACHEL AND JOSH.
Drew did not deserve to go home. Argh, America is dumb.

That's just ridiculous. Marcus and Chris are both garbage imo. Nicole strikes again.  It's not that heart-breaking though since she's probably going to get a fat contract elsewhere.
The final 2 will be Melanie and Josh.

I agree. Chris and Marcus need to be the next two to go.
Rachel needs to do something spectacular to get into the final 2. I love her, though!

Nicole can't make a decision to save herself. Why is she even a judge? She's clearly incompetent when it comes to the important decisions of the show. She is useless. So incredibly useless.

Paula pretty much did the same thing a few weeks ago. However, I do agree that Rachel should have been kept over Marcus. I still do like Chris Rene, I think he can win this thing.

But it was different for Paula - it was both of her groups in the bottom 2. She rightfully so didn't want to send one of her groups home over the other. This was Nicole not even having any of her acts in the bottom 2. It was just her being stupid.
