I figured some people have strong opinions about the results of the Teen Choice Awards, so I created a topic.

I guess I'll get the ball rolling by saying I am extremely dissappointed that Jospeh Morgan was not chosen as the Choice TV Villain.

I didn't vote, but my sister did, and like many teenage girls, she voted for the same show or movie, and whenever they were nominated, just voted for them over and over without looking at the other nominees. But really, when your awards show has Zac Efron, Kristen Stewart, Justin Bieber, and Taylor Lautner all winning at least one award, you know that it's nothing more than a petty populariity contest.

I'm just an ordinary average guy with nothing to lose.

i'm extremely disappointed that i spent all week voting for teen wolf and they didn't even announce the winner of the best summer show (i am serious i could not be more serious)

kristen and rob giving their awards to the audience was nice though they are the best humans

Oh wow. I just looked up the winners and, yep, all conformed to my stereotype of a modern teenager. Feels bad, man.

I didn't vote, either. I was astonished that the Twilight Saga won so many awards. Celtichero, I completely agree with your analysis. Next year, the whole community of Brainlge could vote for the least popular shows and such. (like my favorite, Supernatural)

Never watched it and never voted but by what i can see its just a popularity contest, youre right. I hate Twilight, i prefer proper vampire films, recently saw abraham lincoln vampire hunter and it was definately what i expect and love from a vampire film, lots of blood, fights with a very good storyline that makes you really feel for the characters. Personally i dont think you get that woth Twilight, fair enough if you like it though, my best mates a huge fan of it but i still love her ill give robert patterson his due though, since Twilight he has gone and done different roles, so i respect him for that. Kirsten Stewart needs to learn to smile though wheneer i see a picture or see her doing an interview she seems really moody like she dont want to be there, theres so many people who would love to be an actor for a living so she needs to appreciate that. But yeah im not really into teen choice awards, i dont like popularity contests

kristen doesn't need to do anything. how much someone smiles does not equate to how grateful they are.

I wanted to go see that but I got disappointed when I saw the trailer. I don't want a young ruggedly handsome Abe Lincoln fighting vampires, I want the bearded, stovepipe-hatted, president to give the Gettysburg address and then, while riding away, have to slay a few undead Confederates. I haven't seen the film, so if it does offer this, kudos to it, but I'm just saying that I want to see historical figures as we know them fighting monsters, no matter how improbable it is. In fact the mere improbability is the charming feature.

Though I agree with the idea that vampires belong in the horror rack instead of any sort of ... "supernatural teen" section ( ) I also kind of want some camp from time to time. Getting good old Abe to fight monsters is undeniably a pretty camp idea, why mess with a good formula? [I will admit that Bruce Campbell did the exact opposite with Elvis in Bubba Hotep, giving the audience not the famous young Elvis hero but an older one and I loved that. Maybe I just want more B-movies.]

Later on in the film he does have that classic abe lincoln look, he only doesnt have that look earlier in the film because thats when hes younger and before he got into politics you do see him battli.g vampires while hes in that classic abe look though i saw it with my dad we both really enjoyed it and it was really good in 3D

i feel in the twilight series theyve really messed up the mythology with vampires and werewolves, i mean come on, if a vampire went outside he would die not sparkle i just feel the films or books have no substance (if thats the right word), i would choose harry potter over twilight

And thats just my opinion about kristen stewert i just think she doesnt seem to want to be there, i dont want to get into another arguement with you. Fair enough you have your own opinions though

and i need to go because my kittens attacking my shoes

Just googled the winners... I feel ashamed to be a teen.

Taylor swift and Justin beiber win for best singers. Wow. Not even worth writing more than 3 sentences about.
