I am currently reading Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins for the 100th time since it is the best HG book EVER!

Art of War by Sun Tzu. Should have read it earlier.

Pirates don't sail seven seas and battle sirens. They sail oceans and loot crap.

I'm reading "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" out loud to my daughter.
I'm reading "Holes" quietly to myself.

Well Cub, for once we agree on a subject. I also have just started Hunger Games. And I have refused to watch the TV rendition until I finish the book. Will be interesting to see how closely they follow the book.

The sound of the wild, but if there is no one there, does anyone hear their howls?

"When You Reach Me" - on of my kids was reading it and said, "Dad, you'd love this. It's totally timey-whimey." Which was a bit of a spoiler, but it got my attention.

So after, when he whispers, "You love me. Real or not real?" I tell him, "Real".

Just got into some of the classics lately...read Pride and Prejudice, now reading Anne of Green Gables...on the second book now; it's much better than the movies, and has a lot more humor in it than I expected! Also just read The Glass castle co-authored by Jerry B. Jenkins (co-author of the Left Behind series) and by Trisha Priebe. Really great fiction novel series!!!

Just finished Ender's Game - It was awesome! It is a brilliant science fiction book by Orson Scott Card. I rate it 10/10 ...it's definitely a classic.

I pick up a lot of books at my school library (I'm the librarian, not a student), so I read a lot of juvenile fiction. Some of it is meh, but occasionally I run across books like "When You Reach Me" or "The One and Only Ivan" that just blow my mind with how good they are.

Currently reading something called "Letters from Camp" which may end up being a meh, don't know, going to give it the benefit of the doubt.
