Hey everyone, if you're going to know anything about me, you should know I am OBSESSED with the NFL, particularly my Raiders (hence the avatar). Just wondering if anyone else here likes football, and what they think will happen in the playoffs this year.

I personally don't see anyone except the Saints/Packers coming out of the NFC, for obvious reasons. In the AFC, it will probably be between Baltimore and Oakland... kidding of course. I love the Raiders, but I know they won't make it too far in the playoffs if they make it. I think the AFC will come down to Baltimore/Pittsburgh with Baltimore handing the Steelers their first postseason loss to a division rival ever.

Welcome to Braingle horrordude, I would love to join your discussion, but I'm from MN and we're having a terrible season. It doesn't help that every where I turn there is a Packer fan.

It's not what you know, it's what people think you know.

I hear ya... I'm actually from Oregon, but I used to live in Northern California. Almost everyone there was a 9er fan, and they think that because they're having ONE great season, they're suddenly the best team in the NFL.

P-A-T-S! PATS! PATS! PATS! Brady is having a stellar campaign, and Gronkowski has already broken records. I see no one, in at least in the AFC, who can stop us.

I'm just an ordinary average guy with nothing to lose.

I could see you having a hard time matching up with Baltimore. They've been inconsistent, but you gotta admit... when they're hot, they're one of the most dangerous teams in the league.

That is quite possible as we also have, one of the best offenses in the league and then we have the 31st ranked defense I believe. So, if our defense can step up, we will be a force to be reckon with in the AFC.

Texans take the first one rather easily against a Bengals squad that never really seemed to wake up in the 2nd half

I was rooting for Pittsburgh too

At least New England will finally put an end to Tebow Time.

I see the Packers at the Super Bowl. Obviously there can always be an upset, but they really have played the best season in quite a few (not taking anything away from last season where they won the SB, but it was not as one sided as this year).

Not sure of their opponent, but from a family side, I would love to see the Ravens there. My oldest brother is a Raven fan, and I have two other brothers on the west coast that view the Packers as the team to beat.

Time will only tell...

But wasn't the Broncos game today a real nail biter? So much for a special playoff rule in extra play.

I think that if Baltimore goes to the Super Bowl, they'll win it, I don't see Houston, Denver, San Francisco, and New York getting there. There is still room for a dark horse though.

Not Necessarily related to the Playoffs, but it's NFL related. The Raiders have fired Hue Jackson as the head coach.

Personally, I'm really mad at this decision Jackson was the best coach that we've had since Gruden. Why we let him go is beyond me.

49ers take down the Saints in dramatic fashion. Talk about a close game! Too bad I was rooting for New Orleans

I hear you dude... I was rooting for the Saints too - but have to hand it to the 49er's for coming back in the final moments. Great 4th quarter!

Personnally, I am not rooting for either the Broncos or the Patriots... but my daughter wants the Broncos, so I guess I will cheer them on a bit.

Waiting until tomorrow for MY game

The Broncos are only barely below the Chiefs for my most hated team. While I also can't stand the Patriots because of the Tuck Rule, I am glad to root for them tonight.
