It would seem that your site has been infiltrated by hackers. It is easy enough for me to ignore the spam in the forums, and the bogus friend requests, after all I'm an adult. However there are plenty of children using this site that may not be educated in dealing with this type of behavior.
This site has long been touted as family friendly; it is possible that all your hard work could all be for naught if your site remains open to these types of attacks. Who knows what the next postings may contain.
If you expect me to continue to recommend Braingle to my friends and their families this issue needs to be addressed immediately.

I can see no evidence of hackers. If you can, please send me an example. A hacker is different from a spammer. Spam in the forums is dealt with by the moderators and you can help by clicking the "report" link on each post.

You are correct, spammers not hackers.
I have used the report button and I know the mods try to keep up with it. As I type this there are 4 more posts.
You would think there would be a more efficient way of dealing with this problem.
