Aaaaahhhhhh! I need help!!! Just reading the posts on this board has helped me with levels 1-8, but I am stumped. For level 9, is it a semaphore code? I wrote the letters down on a piece of paper exactly matching up with the image on the screen and wrapped it around a pen. Obviously it didnt work...for a semaphore you have to have the diameter of the stick you are wrapping it around.
So...where can i find said diameter?

Find a pattern with the letters to try to figure out what matches up. For example, if the first letter is F, the second letter shouldn't be S, so make the diameter a little small/bigger until you find a letter that would follow F.

aaaayyyyy! That makes some sense! Ill try it and check up later. Thx.

Edit: I found what it said-used paintbrushes of different diameters. Tricky but it worked. Now, i just need to solve what it said.

What statue is missing both arms?

I finished!!! Yaaaaaayyyyyy!

So what is number 1? Oh yeah. If the person had sisters, then it must be an actual person. Then, find the person-named cipher that shifts by a number. Then google "{person's name} number sisters. That's what I did.

Ok. Ill be blunt. It's a Caesar cipher. Caesar had 2 sisters. Go to the Caesar cipher page under "cryptography" in "Brain Teasers" and shift up by two. Then put in the message that was on the screen.

Yes, but you have to change it to make it work. Try making it backward after you translate...i dont remember exactly what to do. Maybe a mirror image.

IDK. You'll have to post the message here, and then I'll help you. Don't forget to read previous posts on this board...they helped me all the way through level 9.

Like I said earlier, you'll have to post the level on this board. I have no idea what level 3 was. I know how to solve it, but I don't remember the question. I have to see it to help you, and I can't go back. I can probably give you a hint if I see the question. You should post the hint here too.

The key is the country where this cipher's namesake lived. hfntteyllnvmteslqymrvrusq (since I can't continue all I'll space but it's connected) meqniavlgjvjvtbiiykoy gzjcfbwvyppreljvtnj

I clue for level 3 has already been posted. I guess it was a good clue because the person trying to solve it said:
I got it shortly after I saw that hint.
It shouldn't be that hard to figure out after you find the clue.

So, use the country of birth of the person in the hint, then use that as a keyword for the cipher named after that person. Got it?

Okay, I can't quite remember this one. I do believe that once you solve this, you will get a pair of coordinates to find on a map. If you go to Wikipedia or Google maps, plug in the coordinates and you will get a city, which is your keyword. Read previous forum posts, i can't quite remember how I solved this one. And you can always wait it out for the clue.
