I would really appreciate a bit of a point-direction for level 8:
==MESSAGE==
As you like it. We will return your arm if you can decode but a few more riddles. The key to this cipher is the person who first spoke to Adam.

NTTRBYOENDOEKSTRA OSGDSHRTRTHTFUEQTO MEHHXDBMRIHHINCPTUIEI
==END==

So, I think I came to who the person is (hint1?) and which decryption method (hint2?) should be used. Still, the only thing I'm left with, after decryption, is again jibberish groups of letters.
!!!!SPOILERS!!!!
Hint1: Orlando
Hint2: Columnar T.
Please, any help is really valuable. I've been stuck on this for two days now....

Thank you!

I'm working on the Missing Arm puzzle level 7. Evidently I need to use a cipher similar to Polybius but I can't get anything to work. Caesar, bifid, trifid, keyword, whatever? Driving me crazy. Also stuck on Level 10 Scavenger Hunt. Travolta v3.08. Puma, Warcraft?
Help me!

I just found the level 7 answer. I thought I tried that one before. Guess not. Now to work on level 8.

Level 5 is pretty easy. Think alphabet. Ignore 4 tiles. Which ones?

The puzzle hunts were really fun (if aggravating.) I wish they would put up another one. At least I know now that I should keep notes so I can help people when they ask for clues. I still don't remember how I solved some of the steps.

After figuring out that it was a Rail Fence cipher with two rails, you quickly decode the message, get out your world map and locate Seattle.

Beep. This time, the screen on the gadget doesn't display any text. All it shows is the following image.

Here's clue to the puzzle that could be useful: Ignore the black squares for a second; picture the squares as an alphabet marker. For example, there are 26 squares that aren't black and there are 26 letters of the alphabet. The first white square could be letter A and the last gray square before the black square could be letter Z. Try it out and see what happens; and maybe that could be your advantage later on.

Level 1
You wake up one morning to find that your left arm is missing! Thinking that you just misplaced it, you get out of bed and start looking around in the usual places. It's not under the bed or in the closet. You open the dirty laundry hamper. Not in there either.

Now you're starting to get a little worried. "Where could I have placed that arm?" As you wander into the bathroom, you notice a note taped to the mirror. It reads:

==FINAL NOTICE==
Due to a failure to pay your overdue book fine at the library we have taken your arm as temporary payment. If you want your arm back, you must solve these clues, return the book that you checked out, and pay the overdue fine.

If you accept these terms, shift the following cipher text by the number of sisters that he had.

Vjku ku qpg qh vjg oquv ukornkuvke ekrjgtu. Kv yknn igv oqtg fkhhkewnv htqo jgtg qp qwv. Vq igv vq vjg pgzv ngxgn, varg vjg ekva kp yjkej jg ycu dqtp.

Signed, The Librarian
==END==

Luckily, the book that you hadn't returned yet was called, "The Complete Book of Ciphers and Codes", so you had a good reference.

Hint
It is a Caesar Cipher!

This should give you the idea of what to do. Sister of who? Read again. I see only one name.

Choose Your Path is back, and is better then ever. Take a look at the new system, which will hopefully mean more frequent updates for your stories.

The hint says use a Polybius Square.

Someone mentioned using a cipher that is like a polybus square but there are quite a few ciphers and none seem to be related to a Polybius Square.

Any help is appreciated.

the ciper you can use is bifid cipher
u welcome
i noe how hard it is
too not get the answer
hope it helped
