I have about 15 users friending me, and I believe they were made by somebody to annoy people. I relize this isnt about quizes, but I believe it should be brought to attention. all of the accounts were made around the same day, in August 2011. They also have odd usernames, not one that somebody who was planning to stay would use. These are also empty accounts, with no points, no avatars, no signatures, no nothing. I keep getting a friend request from them every hour or so, and I would like this to be looked into further.

I've been getting lots of those too, if you want to keep your friends list down to those who really ARE friends, you can just add these spammers to your foes list and they'll be unable to friend you.

I've also just had 47 people friend me and I have no idea who any of them are. Some of the names are the same as on your list dangerous. As Hrsemn said, the best way to deal with this is to add them to your foes list.

Most of these folks signed up in Aug-Oct 2011... and have never played a game or made a post. You can check them out if you wish.

I have received a lot of the same requests, and have put them on my foe list. Not sure why they want to be my friend if I NEVER played a game with them or shared a comment with them. I guess I am anti-friend... but I am always leary of people who want to befriend me but won't send me a PM to explain why... or I am not moderating a game where I only want my friends to play.

The fact remains.... they never played a game or made a post. You judge for yourself!

And BabyJuice... if you click on your name at the top, you will have a list of items in the blue box on the left. I believe it is the bottom one that says "Your friends". If you click on it, you will have the three lists of friends... 'Mutual friends", "those who have befriended you, but you have not befriended them (ok... mutual friends also here, but you can easily see who have befriended you without you doing the same), and your foes. I usually go to the middle one... find those who think they want to befriend them... and then click on them. If they have been around, played some games, etc... I probably will befriend them; but no play, no points... no befriending me! I highlight their name, copy it, and go to foes and insert it. Whosh... gone. This is how I deal with it. I have never put a person on my foe list that has been an active player... just saying.

The thing about "friending" someone you don't know is that it then gives the person you have friended access to your entire friend's list. The only thing I can figure is whoever is behind this friend invasion wants or needs to access names for some reason, So I do advise you, dangerouspie and anyone else who is being bothered, to copy and paste each of those names in your "foes" list This is what Jake has advised as well.

Thanks guys, Ive done that. I just posted this to make sure people knew this and see if anything could be done about it. I dont want to have people who just want to annoy people on Braingel!

We're one step closer to solving a mystery, though: that of karma.

You don't have to be mutual friends to look at someone's friend list.

It does? since when did you deduce THAT? I see that they all have karma, but I think whoever created them knows how 2 get karma, and used the simplist way they knew 2 get all of the accountd karma.

I want to know how to delete people from my friend list. I know how to delete people from my mutual friend list but then the name just goes back to my "people friending me" list. That list is very long and it is annoying to me. How do I remove people from that list?
