lol.. I coulda sworn it said 4 =/
either way, if it said D, I dont have to think of Denmark. I can think of Dallas (Texas). A snake in Dallas eating an elephant ear.

Yes you seem to be the 2% that can't understand this quiz at all.

Well, there's Denmark, Djibouti, Dominicana, Dominican Republic...
Djibouti. I wonder how you pronounce that. Let's go with an inchworm in Djibouti eating a melon.

This test isn't fair. The only way a person can get into the 2% is if they either do the math wrong, like I did, or they think of a country besides Denmark..
hopefully I am doing this right...
1 * 9 = 9, then 9 - 5 = 4. 4th letter of the alphabet is D.
2 * 9 = 18, then 1 + 8 = 9, then 9 - 5 = 4. D.
3 * 9 = 27, then 2 + 7 = 9, then 9 - 5 = 4. D.
4 * 9 = 36, then 3 + 6 = 9, then 9 - 4 = 4. D.
5 * 9 = 45, then 4 + 5 = 9, then 9 - 5 = 4. D.
6 * 9 = 54, then 5 + 4 = 9, then 9 - 5 = 4. D.
7 * 9 = 63, then 6 + 3 = 9, then 9 - 5 = 4. D.
8 * 9 = 72, then 7 + 2 = 9, then 9 - 5 = 4. D.
9 * 9 = 81, then 8 + 1 = 9, then 9 - 5 = 4. D.
10 * 9 = 90, then 9 + 0 = 9, then 9 - 5 = 4. D.
No matter what number you pick between 1 and 10, you will wind up with D.
in fact...
354 * 9 = 3186, then 3 + 1 + 8 + 6 = 18, then 1 + 8 = 9.
No matter what number you multiply 9 by, if you add the digits up until it results in a one-digit number again, it's probably going to come back around to 9.

The point of this isn't actually the math. We know that every one ends up with a D. The point is, 98% of people think of Denmark as a country, then Kangaroo, then Orange.
I'm in the 2% though. Dominican Republic, Cat, Tomato (I wasn't actually sure if tomatoes are fruits or vegetables though )

Yes math is not the point of the quiz it's just to make it a little more interesting than saying "pick a country starting with D, then think of the name of an animal that starts with the last letter of that country"...etc.,etc.

oh... I probably would've thought of dominican republic... after I thought of denmark and then decided it's too obvious.

Well, I'm very frustrated. I did this and I fell into the 98% category. Since I thought it was pretty cool, I did it to a few people at my school. About half of the people did the math wrong!! How ridiculous is that. So when I asked them if they were thinking of a Kangaroo eating an orange in Denmark, most people just looked at me like I was crazy.
Also, one of my friends did Darfur, which I think was a good idea. I'm surprised most people don't think of Darfur since it's been publicised so much lately.

Darfur wouldn't be right though, it's not a country, just a place in Sudan.
