Hello, everybody! Or should I say "How's everyone been?" It's been about 3 years since I've last visited these forums, so I believe some reintroduction is still in order. I took a break from these forums since my life was moving at a fast pace. Now, I've finally settled a bit, I thought I'd come back. I'll probably not be as active as I once was, but still would like to be a part of this community again.

Name: I'm Ruroken. You can call me any variation thereof; it's fine with me. On some other forums, I go by Player No. 3 or Cubed.
Some major milestones: I got my driving license. I graduated high school and got accepted into college. I'm currently in the first semester of my sophomore year. I've decided to major in physics. (Possibly double major in classics. Maybe English minor.) I've successfully finished As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner, making me feel very smart. Oh, and I've started learning Latin.
Likes: Anime, if you couldn't tell by my avatar (Though, Death Note isn't my favorite.). Don't get used to it, though. I'm planning on changing it. I lean toward fantasy, sci-fi, and action/thriller anime. I'm not a huge manga fan, but I do follow some select series. I also LOVE to read. I carry a book with me wherever I go; you never know when you'll get a chance to read. Currently, I'm going through Junot Diaz's The Brief wondrous life of Oscar Wao. As for writing, well, it's more of a hobby. Would I'd like to publish something? Maybe. I don't know if I've written anything that's particularly publishable. For video games, I tend to play RPGs more than any genre. Current favorites are Golden Sun, Persona 4, and the Metroid Series. I do play other types, like some shooters (BioShock, Dead Space) and action games (Bayonetta). I also follow some American comic book series. Mainly The Young Avengers and Fables. For TV, I'm anxiously awaiting the third season of Fringe and House, M.D. As you can see, I'm a big ol' nerd.
Dislikes: Onions and spiders. (An onion spider is my worst nightmare.)

That's all I can think for the moment; you'll probably get to know me more in the forums. Sorry for the wall o' text, but I'm glad to be back!

Welcome back, Ruroken. You have been gone for a while. Am glad to hear school is going well for you, and that you have found time to remember us here on Braingle. I'm not sure how long you have been away. You know how fast time flies when one is having fun, Anyhow good to have you back and I'll see you around.

Thank you, vlerma!

@4wheels: Well, recently, yeah; that's when I came back/started posting again. But if you're talking about a few years ago...my memory is hazy

Welcome back ruroken. I'm not sure if you remember me or not, but I do remember seeing you around the forums a while back.

I'm glad that you're doing well in school and have everything pretty much mapped out.

SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

Hello and welcome back to Braingle. You have an unusual "name" User #3...I'm sure there is a story there,. So what one do you prefer, not that it matters 'cause someone here will start calling you something and then everyone will and that will be you. If you aren't doing anything, come on over to the Talk Box 1 vs 100. We are currently in a game, but would love to have to join us and see how it's played and perhaps you'll play in the next one. You can PM me, or you can request to become a member here.Just click on Request. Have fun, and enjoy Braingle again.
