Just click on others usernames. 
Then hit the "add to friends list" link. 
That should work!

Well just click on the user's username and then hit add to friends list then that will take you to your friends list and there you can see how many friends you have got.

Why would you quote your own post that's already at the top of the page?
And asha, you're doing good so far, there's no easy way to actually make friends other than joining in and talking with people. you seem to be doing that, and eventually you'll get a lot of friends

I dont think I'm a mod. nor do I think i need to go around the whole forums looking for a place to post, even if what i say isn't exactly useful, and trying to be extra friendly
Also, your advice for making friends is to add people?
I mean, it's like "i want some friends. I know, i'll just add people". One would think better advice is to join in, chat, talk, play, etc.

Yes that would be ONE way to look at it, but I found some of my best Braingle friends by adding them some of them are, snappytom, 4wheels and lots more!!!
If you only had people that you interacted with then you wouldn't have very many friends, I have added people and then I have actually become closer to them more then people I have added from interacting with people.
