How to Create Avatars and Forum Signatures
Spud, in the blue outlined box, that I am typing in now, it says Post Reply at the top. Down below that you will see the different emos (Smilies) that you can use on Braingle forums, talk boxes, etc, just insert them after you have typed ( 
such as that).
On the next line you see Allowed formatting: You finish what you are typing, go back over all your writing and slide your cursor over everything until you have it all blue, and then go down and click or bold, or italics or small or big and it will automatically do these functions for you when you go into check spelling or when you actually post your reply.
Now to get the colored print, right below the Allowed Formatting you will see Colors. Again you need to run your cursor over the words you want colored, or if you want your entire message in colored print, then you must get everything blue by running your cursor over all the words and then click on the color you want your type to be. Warning, the cyan between the olive and the blue leaves a bit to be desired, as does the pink and the yellow, only in that it is hard to read for some of the old duffers like me.
As you are typing all of this up, putting your formatting, or just your colors in you will see < b >< / b >, < big >< / big >etc. This is just the way of telling the computer that you want this to print out a you have directed it to. When you do a spell check, don't try to remove these things, in fact I'm not sure they show up in spell check, they should do what you are asking them to do. Anyhow, you can play around with it and see how you like it. Run into trouble don't be afraid to ask more questions.

I suggest taking the Braingle IQ Test. It gives you the amount of points you score, and it's a quick way to get over 100 points in a small time for new users. Good luck!

I have already partaken the Braingle IQ test, after reading the above advice... but I am still confused as to why I don't appear to be able to access it.

You have to be a member for 2 weeks and need to have 50 points before you can have a signature and profile message.

To find out how many points you have, click on your username at the top of the screen and it will take you to your profile. In the green box on the left hand side, at the top of that list, it will tell you your "Overall Score". That number is however many points you have earned. Right now, your score is 153. (:

There are no games put in for any of the Braingle card games, unfortunately 
They're just instructions/descriptions on how to play the card game on your own if you have a deck of cards.

I agree, I wish we had some of those games here. Specifically euchre. Maybe one day we'll get those games on there, but not yet.
On the bright side, most PCs have Solitaire by default.
So you don't have to miss out completely.

I remember using a software that could make avatar that show one image after another, but I cannot remember it's name.... any one know of a software like that??

You're definitely talking about some sort of GIF making program. You can find some free online ones on google, but personally I use a program called GIF movie gear which is a paid program, though you can get it for a 30 day free trial.

Hey guys this is more of a question for those of you that either have had a moving avatar or have one at the moment.
I was just wondering how you get the moving avatars on, do you just make it the right file and then load it up just like a still photo or is it more complex?
