It'll take another 10 days or so for you to edit your signature, unfortunately.  You have to be a member for 2 weeks.

Well you can't take the IQ more than once, because you earn points for taking it.
They don't want people taking multiple times as people with great IQs like 140+ might just keep taking it and taking it again and again, just to get heaps of points.
Also if they took the test multiple times in a row that would be able to figure out the answers to the questions and then that persons IQ wouldn't be accurate either.

Not sure about the scavenger hunts, but PM stands for Private Message if you are usually on the Forums you will hear people talking about PMs lots.

Yeah, you have to make or get images in GIF format that have dimensions under 100x100 pixels, and are under 50KB.
Just let me know what you want or what you're having trouble with, and I can help out more.

Yeah, that's all you do. See I took your avatar, and edited it twice to change the arm position and I uploaded each image to Gickr (making sure to set the right size), and it gave me this -

I just edited it in photoshop or paint, and saved them as separate images.
